I love the sound of itbamboo_socks said:I keep getting error messages when I try and add a photo but I found a skein each sparkly red and sparkly white yarn so made a hat with a pompom. It's a bit Where's Wally meets The Grinch but never mind! I think I could make at least another one with what I've got left.

Hi there
I’ve finished my first project - nothing too taxing, just a pair of fingerless mitts; however, that’s 1x50g ball of Sidar country classic DK that’s no longer in my stash!I might make a pair for myself, as these were for my mum, though I’ve just cast on a sock, so I’ll wait until I have finished them.
i must, say, there’s a few lovely items posted already, I’ve enjoyed having a wee look and am currently looking through last year’s posts for some inspiration.
No craft spending in 2024 - still spent nothing!Stash-busting challenge - 1/1214 -

bamboo_socks - great hat.
SandandShells - lovely mitts.
I have spent on a craft order today and revised my yearly allowance. I put on another thread about having a discretionary fund amount each month like Frugal Queen in Fr..... Mine will sometimes be spent on craft bits.
I am also justifying my spend - to make cards to raise funds for my SA Corps.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Made 4 multicolour granny squares towards my winter jacket. Have just finished the 25g ball of orange. I don’t have as much yarn as I thought I did so mum is sending me her odd balls so I can get my jacket made.Looking forward to Saturday as it’s a PJ day (apart from a delivery) then I am 100% finishing my comforter and getting it on the bed. Will be so happy when it’s done. Sadly, I don’t have any left overs to make pillow shams - I think I only have four of the right colour squares left.I am loving seeing what everyone is making, really lovely things and so motivational too. Really helps with ideas of what I can make.

Count me in please 🙏 I will have to catch up on posts soon.
Hoping for a better 2024 and maybe even a little bit of space to do some crafting. Either way I see a big declutter on the horizon!10
