I’m still on the blanket and am not deviating from it.It’s my therapy currently. I’m off for another week or the rest of this one at least. It’ll be three by the time I’ve gone back. It’s annual leave. But I don’t take time off.I’ve achieved 25 / 150 so far i am counting rows finished.I’ve started to fill a box with stuff to take to the scrap store when it reopens. I’m determined to de clutter as much as I can. I’m going to see if there are any others close by to get it out of the house quicker. The curtain pole need to be next

Count me in please 🙏 I will have to catch up on posts soon.
Hoping for a better 2024 and maybe even a little bit of space to do some crafting. Either way I see a big declutter on the horizon!Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.026 -
emsi_b said:Hello all, I'll be back on this year. I haven't had chance to think about a target as we've had some sad news at the start of the year which has taken all of my brain space. It seems like lots of us need some happy time crafting (or at least to trying to relax).
I do have a few aims for this month- my craft room is out of action for a few weeks due to building work, so I am planning on finishing off an embroidered Peter rabbit quilt square and one or two cross stitch card kits. I'd also like to get some cushions made for my outdoor chairs as the fabric is mocking me now- it's been sat two years in the to make pile! I have sewn the straps and now need to pull them right side out.
Going through something similar so I can total understand everything you say. If ever you need a chat I'm always here xMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.027 -

Quite dark colours compared to some of the other blankets we’ve done recently but at least that wool is all finished now. Have made a start on the amigurumi elephant kit, will post pics as I working on that. Head done so far and started on torso.

CreativeFibro said:I'm a bit late to the challenge as I have spent the first week of the New Year ill with Covid, on top of my usual Fibromyalgia.
My target is to keep my craft purchase budget less than the craft sales/de-stash income.
This will help me to get on and try to sell duplicates and tools I don't use etc. Yesterday I spent £36.88 so I need to get cracking. It is time to keep a proper record so I will know if I succeed at the end of the year.
Hope you are feeling much better now xMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.026 -

I'm up to 15 makes so far this year now.
I actually made 75 seed packs for a neighbour for her mums funeral but are only classing these as 3 makes for this challenge as really only used a few sheets of cardstock and some double sided tape.
I've also made two nail planners for orders for my business and 2 crosses in my pocket which have helped me reach the 15 things so far
Slow progress but I've still not bought any stash yet and we are a third of the way through the monthMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.0213 -

Such lovely makes on her, so inspiring. Still plugging away with crocheting granny squares for my jacket, getting close to enough I think.Am thinking of next project. I really MUST MUST MUST sew this blimming cover onto the comforter. No, I haven’t doneit yet and I do want to. The sewing machine is ready. All I have to do is tack or pin it on and sew it. I’ve got to deal with it as I need to move the table down to the kitchen for start of February when I start my seeds. Mind you, I’ve still got to get the yard ready for that too - got raised beds to build….I need a few chums to help 🤣 Is anyone else like me? Full of good intention but hopeless with time management and actually getting off my butt to do it.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal
