Is anyone else like me? Full of good intention but hopeless with time management and actually getting off my butt to do it.

Well I have finished the prototype coin purse (though will use it for little bits of craft stuff) - loads of areas for improvement which I can do and I think the yarn I chose needs a bit of thought as it splits too easily. Will still keep cotton but will use mercerised - cant spell it - so will be a bit more silky. Will also try a new stitch as made this one up as I went along for density. At least it is a no sewing item apart from weaving in the start and end piece of yarn

Have nearly finished my crystal art picture and will post soon. Really like being on this forum - makes me smile

Lovely crochet happening on this thread.
craftingmad - I got the pad in a sale - reduced from £14.99 to £4.49.
I have finished 8 cloth shopping bags. I will send them into my Daughter's school next month in the hope of being bought - could be Mothering Sunday/Birthday gifts or shop early for Christmas! I will price at £3 each. They are made with 100% cotton fabric - I followed a YT tutorial.
I will take unsold ones along to the table top sale at SA.

Great photos everyone. I've made 2 more cards from a sort of kit I've had for years, they made into a wee handbag and when you open it, it has a concertina effect. Good if I am giving someone a gift card I think. Plus mums here this week and has recovered a little footstool and made a bag for her crochet out the leftovers. Then from those leftovers she's made a little needle case which she hands into a charity shop from time to time.

I am so envious that you have someone to craft with. As a housebound disabled person friends are hard to come by as I can’t get out to meet anyone now and I have no family, distant relatives on mainland but none here. I have a wonderful friend but she doesn’t craft at all. I only know a couple of other people so unlikely to change. No good crying over it, pull me big girl pants up and get on with it, loads of folk a heck of a lot worse off than me. 😊Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

@suzeesu2000. Hi, I have no one either and that is why I am so happy I found this forum
I know it is not the same as having a human next to you but you can show pictures of work in progress or for opinions of what looks best and just chat about craft and someone will respond - I will respond. It is a different way but it is good too. Hope to see your posts soon

I am in awe of your skill - I really must try and learn how to knit and crochet. It has been on my radar for years and I have loads of wool in my stash (not even sure why except it was pretty colours and I HAD to have it!!!) so I would only need to buy needles and hooks (although I have a distant memory of buying some of those too!)Auti said:Well I have finished the prototype coin purse (though will use it for little bits of craft stuff) - loads of areas for improvement which I can do and I think the yarn I chose needs a bit of thought as it splits too easily. That makes the paper even prettier
I love those bags - so pretty and very practical
I'm imagining how I could take them out shopping with me and fill them with craft supplies (and then I remembered this challenge so I better not)
I'm sure they will sell out in no time

Love them all. I could not bear to get rid of that needle case - it is adorable.daisy_1571 said:Great photos everyone. I also think I have that card kit buried in my stash somewhere. Your card is so pretty so I must try and find mine and start using it too
