@Tiggermad, great anniversary card – and belated congrats for that. We celebrated anniversary 53 on Tuesday this week. How that happened I don’t know – especially as I’m still only in my twenties (until I try to move, lol)!
@daisy_1571, that is the sweetest little mouse, with the cutest history!
@KajiKita, your Mum will love that cosy blanket. That’s a pretty jumper pattern. I’m sure it will be beautiful in that shade of blue, can’t wait to see it (just noticed I’ve used the exact words that @pluduff55 used – great minds think alike!).
@AlwaysAllie, Great Hallowe’en signs and great font choices too.
@old_fogey, I like the papers you picked for your anniversary card. Thanks for sharing the video link.
@daisy_15, when I was making the dog coat last year, I had to do all that trying on and pinning on a real dog! No, I lie, I did not! Measuring him was enough of a palaver. You’ve made a fantastic job of that harness; his new owner is very lucky.
It’s the second last week in August, but here were July’s plans – no chance of completion as torpor and life has got in the way,
· Christmas cards ✓
· Cat tapestry
· Bibliocat quilt panel
· another shrug – DGD wants one in bright pink; DD chose the colour of the original so it would go with most outfits
· another Christmas Eve Wishes blanket – started
August’s Plans (Ha ha!)
· Christmas Eve Wishes blanket #2
· wedding card
· 5 Christmas cards
· our anniversary card (53)
· birthday card
· bolero #2a

Oh dearie me, what have I started
Hedgehog as I received him, a bit grubby and looking more like a womble than a hedgehog with his flattened floppy snout.
I've opened a bit of back seam where he was leaking and rummaged about feeling like James Heriot (only he was never up to his elbow in polystyrene balls) . I can get hand into paws, arms and snout so only polystyrene filling them. There seems to be a bit like a cushion insert which I think has slipped slightly from being the top of his head. I shoogled that around a bit. I think that's so his crown keeps shape when sitting upright.
I've added more balls from a huge bag one of the rescue shops had had donated. So far about half the bag has gone in however some at least is clinging to me, others are bobbling about in the bath.
Thats the bag already partly emptied in.
Not sure how much more I can get in but mr d has the cat sitting on him and (since he's not a psychopath) that's him stuck till she gets up lol. Luckily I don't have urgent need of a bath so hedgie can remain there just now
I'll get on with something else in the meantime

Harood the hedgehog done! Some material and lots of thread used up. Plus 3 buttons. Doesn't make a big dent lol. Might make 2 large bags to carry/store them in
Lessc like a womble now. Lots of darts were needed in the waistcoat (along with a large insert in the back) to make it fit his rather hedgehoggy shape 😆
