Hope DH gets his symptoms under control soon

It sounds as though your DH is really suffering at the moment. How unpleasant for him. Hopefully things start to calm down soon.

Thanks @WelshmansDaughter and @Dakota_Rose , he got through the day but it's not been a good one. He's left a message for the specialist nurse to ring him tomorrow.
I was at work this afternoon - the class went well but we have heard there is to be a restructure, as well as our class having low numbers, which means the funding may be withdrawn. I do hope it can continue as we can see real benefit to those taking part. Of course it may be amalgamated with another class somewhere, but then it depends on whether people can get to a different venue.
I called into the shops on the way home and entirely failed to find the decaff coffees I wanted. I hope they are restocked soon. However, I had to go past Iceland and, checking the Olio app, saw they had some nice discounts. I paid £3.65 for celery, leeks, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, tenderstem broccoli, blueberries and lactofree milk. I also bought a couple of ginger beers in T3sco for 15p each. Those will be useful when I'm out and about.
Dinner was tuna pasta with some of the broccoli, and lunch was overnight oats and flapjacks - so I'm doing well using up oats and greengage jam. I also had about a pint of milk that went out of date yesterday so I scalded it and it's still fine today. I'm glad I tried that as I suspected it would work but couldn't be sure - and I already have too much yogurt so I didn't want yet more.

I do hope the specialist nurse can offer some suggestions to improve things quickly.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
So sorry to hear DH is not feeling his best, fingers crossed that the nurse sorts it out for him before the weekend!

Thank you @Watty1 and @rtandon27 , he had a better night and is now at work. It's so up and down but he's now had experience-based advice from others with the same condition (forums are so useful!) which helps give a context and it seems he's far from the only one to have had multiple changes of drugs over the years and reactions developing… it doesn't tell us whether to try the latest one that's been offered but he's considering it. The difficulty is that similar drugs have had unsustainable side effects for him.
We have to take it a day at a time and be thankful it's not usually like this. A bonus is he's having a doughnut for supper every night now to keep his calories up, and at present his weight is stable!
As for me, I could really do with losing weight, as I suspect the doctor will tell me (I have a phone appointment later to discuss possible sleep apnoea - decided it's time to try to sort that one, and ask to get my bloods checked at the same time as they are nearly due).

I was told once that a mars bar a day would help my stomach issues. My teeth maybe not so much

Alas, the chocolate coating contains dairy… unless I nibble it off for him?

I've managed a few financial things today: another item sold on V1nted is already posted. Two this week, after weeks of nothing. I did tell myself to hurry and get something else listed, but it didn't come to anything as I changed plans and did some baking ready for the family get-together tomorrow. (Chocolate cake and flapjacks, plus rice pudding for tonight). I had been going to do church cleaning, which will now have to happened tomorrow as it was pouring down while I was getting ready to go.
Making the most of the Pr1me membership while I have it, I've ordered some eye drops (cheaper online) for myself and a craft activity for the girls. Last night I spent £1.99 on an e-book of crochet patterns - I've not even looked at it yet but it might help use up some of the stashed yarns.
I spent lots of time this morning looking for colouring and similar activities and battling the printer. Even when the computer and printer are just opposite sides of the same table, they often refuse to talk to each other and I end up turning both off and trying to turn them on in an order that gets past their defences. Took a few goes but I now have plenty of black and white outlines for them to colour. Unicorns feature heavily.
I realised I've not had the usual text about when I'm available to work next week, so I assume they don't need me for a few days. I had three hours this evening and I'll treat next week as a bit of a holiday.
DH had his phone conversation with a specialist nurse and seems okay with it, in fact he seems okay in himself but when I asked after him, he thought hard and said 'Let's focus on tomorrow', so I assume he isn't feeling brilliant. However, he appears more interested and energetic, possibly because he found some new data in his (extensive) family history research. Nothing dramatic following my own appointment: she listened well and has made a note of the bloods I required, then, when I have the results, she wants to see me in person. She mentioned blood pressure and diabetes checks, both of which always come back okay but I'd rather have up to date results. She also mentioned BMI, which I admitted isn't quite where it should be.
Two lots of shopping happened on the way home: I managed to get my decaff cappuccino sachets, some half price salmon, some basics and various bits from L1dl's 15% off coupons. I spent about £16 on groceries but DH has bought some as well.

Apparently the secret to vinted is to upload 2/3 things a day.
