Psst - day 2 done here - ouchity ouch ouch ouch! - fingers crossed I'm not up with leg cramps again tonight! But at least today focusing on the exercises was easier and it is cooler so less effort required to do the 20 min circuit!
How did c25k go for you or is it a rest day?

It was a rest day, thanks for asking @rtandon27 . Today isn't… the actual running on Monday was easy enough (the body remembers) but I've been having foot problems over the summer and have a new tender spot which I suspect is internal bruising from what feels like a comfortable pair of shoes. It could be that the bone overgrowth is cramping my other toes, but if I have it operated on, the chance are it will grow back. So I plod on - not quite literally as the soreness eases over time, and running doesn't seem to exacerbate it at all.
Feet aside, I was just so tired yesterday! DH has had a couple of restless nights so possibly I missed out on deep sleep, but he took care of the girls for an hour to let me rest yesterday afternoon. They went out on scooters but then he left me on charge while he sorted out the one who is potty training, and I was too dozy to noticed she had opened the cereal cupboard and was making 'cakes' on the kitchen floor! One scolding later… the thing is, it could have been an honest mistake on her part to begin with, but she wouldn't let her sister help clear up and was treating it as a game then getting defiant… I suppose four and two are not the easiest ages. Other than that we did our usual library trip and visit to the swings.
DH took the car in to have the steering attended to: that should happen today. I walked to work so I got a lot of steps in as it's the far side of town.
I did a bit of grocery shopping so there's a bag full of pram snacks and another of Grandma snacks which I need to sort out today. There were some cheesy crackers that I disliked so much that I've sent the rest of them to DH's work's snack table!
Then at night DH was so restless that I was considering sneaking into the spare room bed, but I asked him if he was okay (yes, but couldn't get to sleep) and the conversation seems to have reset the restlessness as he then fell properly asleep and so did I. This was about 2.15 though, so I'll be tired later.

We had proper rain last night! Listening to it was a compensation for being awake late.
DH has signed us up for a different broadband and landline package, which should be sorted out next week by the chaps who climb telegraph poles. We enquired about it last year but at that point someone down the road had objected so the town-wide installation didn't come down our (small, private) road. The one we have at present is £49 a month and this will be £26. He's kept the landline as persuading auntie to change hers is one battle too many. I suppose it also saves us going round changing our contact number on everything we've ever signed up to. What a pain that will be when it comes: perhaps I'll start removing it piecemeal over the term of the contract as I realised there are missed calls on there that I can't get access to as it's been so long since I used it that I don't know how!

We too had rain! OH says it kept him awake all night, I did not hear a thing and he laughed when I looked out the window this morning and declared that there must have been rain as there was a puddle!

It's come to something when so many people are commenting that it's raining but we aren't complaining! I'm sorry it kept him awake, though.
I had a restful morning but decided to aim for a run before I ate lunch (easier on an empty stomach). I listened to my Bible app while I did a small amount of ironing and put a couple of bits aside to give away. DH gets to do the donating - it delights him to see things going out of the house! Also he can gift aid, which I can't, so the charity shop benefits more.
There was then a shower of rain but I was determined so I did some warm-up exercises and got lunch ready, by which time the sun came out and I had an enjoyable run. I also worked out that I could time it so I was at the slow-down walk stage at about the point where I pass the V1nted lockers. I was nearly right, too. With three minutes of walking to do to complete the exercise, I went down a neighbouring road and discovered a pear tree shedding fruit onto the pavement. It's clearly not being picked up - except by me who took one home, but I'm guessing they aren't ripe enough to eat. I beleive some trees are shedding fruit out of drought stress rather than ripeness. Anyway, I'll try to remember it's there in case there is more to come.
So that set me right to collect my parcel, which is a stocking filler for DD.
Not much accomplished since then but I have a bit of time before work so I'll see what I can do with it (like packing away the snacks I bought yesterday).
