@Cherryfudge - have you tried using up the frozen rhubarb in a crumble? - I really am not a fan of fresh rhubarb, but find that freezing breaks down the fibres and works a treat with apples or berries (those can be from the freezer as well) - It's my favorite way to get fruit into the OH as given a choice he'd not choose to eat any fruit or veg!

I hear you on the exercise motivation being absent - I'm struggling to keep my former good habits as so much time and energy has been diverted over the past year! If you get back to your C24K, I'll keep you company and restart my pilates sessions! Really no excuse in my case as the app is on my phone - I just have to open it up 😂

It's not a case of taste @rtandon27 - he loves fruit and eats quite a lot but for some people rhubarb is a laxative (which he doesn't need with his condition!).

I had a nice run - so now you have to do your Pilates! I do enjoy it but I'm rather a fair weather runner. In winter I'm afraid of slipping and being injured as this can set me back quite a bit, and of course it's been rather warm to run over the summer! Having tried both, I'd rather run in snow than heat. Now that the temperature has dropped, I decided to get back to it although the noise of the dried vegetation under my shoes makes it sound like jogging on tissue paper.

The miniscule drifting rain is still in evidence, but the sheets and towels have dried beautifully. Time I remade the bed, wrapped the V1nted parcel and got myself down to the Evr1 collection point.

Is the rhubarb from this year? Apparently there is a point in the year past which you are not supposed to eat it due to high oxalic content

Yes, our friends gave us some of their s a couple of weeks ago. I didn't know that about the oxalic content, and they are further south than us so presumably further on in the season.

@Cherryfudge - good on you for doing your run! - I've had to replace pilates with some really challenging physiotherapy exercises after my physiotherapist cracked the whip today, but I'I've even broken a sweat doing the circuit which is 8 exercises over 20 mins - my muscles hurt more than with pilates so I'll count that as a win!
