I am going to look for coats for us in the next couple of weeks as it is still mild, but it feels like it might change.
I did see a coat that looked very warm with a faux fur hood, but it was on a blazing hot day and I didn't want to lug it home. I will probably regret that decision when it gets chilly!6 -
Wednesday. 🤞 it's not gone yet.
Ive not had much luck recently, rather slim pickings but this week I've picked up some great bargains. Some autumn/winter weight tops and sweaters, 50 p each and even a nice navy and white striped jacket, again 50p. A bit snug so might give that to my sister. A tunic dress £4A selection of DVDS and CDs, 10 for £2, a nice photography coffee table book £1 and some "French style" pretty storage boxes £3 for a set of 3.Noticed they are starting to get Christmas decorations in.😱 😂7 -
They were the worst selection of coats I have seen in the two charity shops today! Typical. I was trying to get steps in and it is still fairly warm here.
I did buy a snack dish that I wanted (not a plastic one) to use in the evenings for binge watching shows. I am watching The Americans at the moment.
It was this Lavinia dish. Royal Worcester Lavinia - White Hor's d'oeuvres Dish | We'll find it for you | Chinasearch £6.

That's a lovely snack dish @Wednesday2000 - my only criticism is that it could be bigger
. I'll look out for coats and report back!
Eta: I did finally find my way to The Cornerstone the other week, it was a boiling hot afternoon and my mum didn't need much persuading to come out with me. I didn't go mad in there but I did find a smart dress on the £1 rail which I bought with my sister in mind. Mum was dissuading me but as soon as my sister saw it she said she really loved it and has worn it to work already. (It might have helped that I laundered it for her too).No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.10 -

Précis petite smart black jacket £2
Joules blue and white striped T-shirt dress £4.75
Landsend jeans £5.50
Then popped into my local Mind shop, which tends to be a bit spenny and hovered up for £1 each:
white tee
M and S turquoise scoop necked tee
Adidas royal blue PE top
And a pair of John Lewis khaki shorts for DH.7
