I've bought garden tools at car boots, it's nice to get a solid old piece that has been loved and used by a previous generation, and give it a new lease of life.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I just went into five charity shops looking for coats. I found a grey and black coat in Shared Space for a fiver.
I got a Ralph Lauren short grey jacket for £15 in Mind in Westcliff. It will probably be quite warm with a roll neck jumper underneath. I also bought a sweatshirt, some beige boots with tags and a baseball cap from Mind. They have a 50% off sale on some ladies clothes, but I think she said it ends tomorrow.6 -

The other day I found a lovely Per Una lined linen jacket, that was just £2, Sling in a couple of more scarves and a bumbag for £1 each and of course the obligatory books and I left the chazzer happy. All are spinning around merrily in my washing machine at present! No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I'm of to my local large village/ suburb, to do some reverse-chazzing and may indulge in some mooching. I just need to not buy previously donated items!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I made a comment on @Miró's red dress recently. This blouse doesn't look all that but somehow when I put it on it is transformational:
If you look at the pic closely you can see that it is made in Vietnam - which brings me onto this film about fast fashion: The True Cost. Its fair to say that buying chez chaz saves clothes from landfill, but I also think it would be naive to assume that its wasn't part of the driver for demand. There is bound to be research out there that tells us the exact opposite! So I need to approach my need for stuff (much of which I don't use more than occasionally) with caution.

Did the rounds of the Bedale & Thirsk C/B’s and the Thirsk chazza shops today. Spent the grand total of £1!Roman embroidered jacket….tis a burgundy shade, not purple as it looks. A woman at the Bedale C/B was selling off her extended family’s unwanted clothing….everything was £1.13
