£75!!!  for a paperback!!!  More than I've ever paid for a scarf!!!

That said - it does look interesting so I'll keep an eye out at the library or go into a Waterstones to see if they've got one I can look at.  Or maybe one will turn up in a chazza.....

You can either buy the reference book as a joy in its own right, hint mercilessly for it, or round up some family schoolchild who gets free inter library loans… Says she who’s done all 3 for different books.

I have been in quite a few chazzers lately. I went to a couple in Southchurch I hadn't been to the other day, but didn't find anything.

Today I went to some on London Road and Hamlet Court Road. I found a brand new cat bed and a blue tunic dress in St Vincent's and then a grey Red Herring jacket for my husband for only £1 in the Mencap shop! I asked if that was the correct price and she said they were trying to get rid of stock.

There is a new shop near that one called Aspirations, but I didn't see anything in there.

I’m back on my JoGLE walk and arrived into Bridgnorth today. A wealth of chazzers and I got:

Clothing and books have been mailed home as no room in my rucksack 😊

DSis got 6 books, 2 of which will come with us on our walk!

I normally give this a swerve as its generally expensive on the grand scheme of chazzers. 

Chazzers in Southchurch Road - not been for a couple of weeks but will drop by the next time I walk to the High Street.

Today started off badly with news of the Bedale car booty being cancelled due to a waterlogged field so we headed off to do the chazza shops in Thirsk.  Struck gold in the first one….Cancer Research!  Spotted a ME & EM maxi dress, as new & priced at £12.50.  Had an inkling it was a premium brand and found it was originally priced just under £300!!!!!  Fits beautifully and will be perfect for a forthcoming garden party stylee wedding, (not mine🤭).

Also went to the Church yard sale and picked up a nice wonky glass bowl for 50p.  Debated as to was it uranium glass and happed to have my UV torch with me….still not sure but love the bowl anyhoo. 😁

Also, ahem, sorry for being O/T but I seem to have acquired a nesting duck!  She has parked her nest of 12 eggs right by the front door in the clump of bluebells.  As a towny I am now worried sick about her and the local cat and dog population.  (Even got a security camera on her so I can check on her at all times😫). Do I need to do anything or just let nature take it's course?  Oh lawks!!!

When your childhood comes back to you! We used to have these smaller bowls when I was little, rice pud, cereal, mums fruit salad…. They and the bigger trifle bowl came home with us for a while £3. Mum would be laughing up her trunk to see them again.
