Today, my local community chazza had a huge quantity of Sloggi knickers, (brand new I should add!!!), selling at £1 a pair. Waitrose just over the road is selling the self same thing at £30 for a pack of three! Snapped up four pairs...two sizes too big but I seem to remember Sloggi are on the small size....anyhoo will be great for those days when you just want to be comfy.
Also found a b/n pack of six snazzy corn-on-the-cob-holders for £1.50, and 2 lots of b/n, still sealed make up, (Clinique eye shadow palette & Maybelline pressed powder compact for 50p each.

Now that was a bargain. I live in Sloggi - I live a rural life - comfy and practical hereMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!9 -

I went into The Cornerstone yesterday and got a Steve Madden bag for £9.50 and two wicker baskets for £2 each. I didn't really need the bag, but wicker baskets always come in handy.
I walked past the hospice shop on Leigh Road today and thought I might as well have a look, but there was a book signing event going on in there. I felt a bit awkward so I just left as there were quite a few people in there. The man signing the books was from a dog training school in Southend as I have seen him on Instagram.5 -
A trip to Otley today and I came home with a pair of grey Punt Roma BNWT slim fit trousers from the 99p shop....sadly not a very good fit on me so might try listing them on Vinted
Then in the Cancer Research shop my eyes hit like lasers on a Hobbs trench stylee coat. The newer version with the single breasted front fastening and just above knee length. At first I thought it was brand new but probably has had a couple of wears. In immaculate condition tho and priced at £19.95, (they retail around the £200 mark!). Ho hum....I just couldn't leave it could I? I shall have to send my old one to the charity shop for retired clothing!

A trundle around the Thirsk chazza shops this afty. Came away with a picture by a local artist of a wildflower meadow, £10, an unusual necklace/earring set, £3.99, a Jaegar hot pink wool/cashmere jumper dress £10, a pair of navy tights, 50p, and what I hope is an uranium glass posy bowl, £7, (awaiting delivery of a UV torch to see if it glows!).

Ermmmm ….sorry…me again 🫣
Had a wander around Northallerton today and was tempted by a tan Radley bag in the BHF shop for £20. I already have a similar version in black and have found it very useful so I splurged. Getting it home and having a good squiz at it in daylight showed it had not been treated well by the previous owner. Corners scuffed and lining stained and fluff everywhere. Anyhoo, a few squirts of anti-bac stuff, a little diluted bleach on the lining and some deft strokes with a felt tip pen has smartened it up no end. Shame the cross body strap is missing but I have one of those fancy webbing ones that might work….
