I was trying on a top the other day and an arm came round the curtain towards the hooks. I gave it a whack but by the time I'd got myself decent and gone out I couldn't see a likely suspect. There were plenty of people in the shop but I didn't recognise the arm (it was a dark sleeve).
So if the hooks are near the opening side of the curtain - be aware.8 -

This weeks purchases so far:
Dark blue Per Una high waist skinny jeans £3.50
Dark grey jersey Phase 8 day dress £4
Silver leather cuff £1.55
Red Lands End fleece top with grandad style buttons £5.
l have been looking for some black knee length boots as my Clarks ones have been too tight since knee surgery. I nearly bought some but in the end didn’t like the soles. I find it super hard to find boots that fit my chunky calves and cankles. Anyway I came home without and decided to have one last try with the Clarks ones. And yay they zipped up. So I feel as though I have got new boots even though I already had them.10 -

Well it turned out I've got more shame than I thought I had! Thinking about it afterwards I wish I'd gone straight out and shouted "one of the men in here just stuck their hand round the curtain while I was in there!!" But what I actually did was hold the top across my front and tuck it into my armpits (itms?), then went out looking for someone rubbing their arm. No luck.
I've said this on another forum, and a woman there commented that the same can happen in loos etc where you hang your bag on the hook on the door, and also not to leave your bag on the floor by the door in case it's pulled out from under it.I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.10 -
I tend not to try on if it's one of my local shops, they're all happy for things to be returned if they don't fit.

I had a somewhat quieter week at the chaz I thought - until I look back at what I bought! A total of 9 books, 2 glitzy scarves that I didn't need, a small ornament I couldn't resist, and pictured: a couple of accessory hangers (£1) and a heavy stainless steel lipped jug that can be used on the hob for £3. Its an Italian brand and mid-range, I can't imagine it cost more than £10 new.
Total spend £10.30.
I've just totted up my chazzer expenditure for Jan, it is £28.50 - which is fine given what I have bought for it, but not fine in as much as all but £1 (the hangers abov) has been a want rather than a need!No man is worth crawling on this earth.
