Loving the green shoes and the suggestions of how to style them.I popped up to my local high street for a bit of fresh air and a mooch and came back with:
Sandwich sage green top £3
Zara black velvet waistcoat £5.50
Joules blue and cream horizontal striped jacket £10
And Next petite black velvet jacket £6.50.

The sage top is my kind of thing - easy to style with jeans and a gilet (in this weather, at least). No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.6 -
Up in Hawes for a few days, not much open but did find a chazza. Picked up a pair of thick, real sheepskin insoles, £1.95 and v v cosy😋

Oh I love the insoles. I used to use them inside my winter boots (never found in Chazza shops) and that pic has reminded me how fabulous they are.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!7 -

I have tried buying them from FleaBay and Am@zon before and have ended up with cheap synthetic fakes so I was frilled to bits to find these and to be able to examine them thoroughly before purchase 😋Watty1 said:Oh I love the insoles. Hi I love the bird and the horse . They appear quite valuable as there is a similar one on Etsy. Maybe have a look?4

I love Murano glass - I'm still kicking myself for not buying a tiny red glass ant when we visited Venice. They start at 2 euros and go up to amazing prices for huge, amazing works. I inherited a glass bird from Mum and bought it a friend for a few euros but I don't know how you'd value a specific piece. They are so clever, though.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
