Agreed, Scoff is totally me! Am surprised I missed this as it was published less than 4 years ago. Speaking of reading, I picked up these little beauties to enhance my literary enjoyment further:

Passing thro Ripon yesterday I could not resist calling in to the RSPCA shop and came away with an Oliver Bonas dress in brushed cotton, navy with small pink lightening bolt pattern, £5. Original shop price £69! (Had rather revealing splits showing too much leg so have sewn ‘em up! Also picked up a DKNY dress in heavy pure silk, also £5. Was an American Size 12 which I forgot was different from our size 12’s. 😠 Have managed to take in a couple of inches down the sides 😊. It’s normally a rather scruffy chazza, full of overpriced Primark, but yesterday they had lots of good makes, White Stuff, Crew, Seasalt for eg.
@Rosa_Damascena. Is that a hat pin on the bottom left? Looks nice and stabby!
@Brie The parking was slap bang in the middle of Bedale High Street so I reckon I was gotcha’d by our roaming parking attendant who is notorious in the local area ☹️ Easy pickings on a busy car boot day!8 -
I had a very long wander around Southend today. I found 3 dresses, but still not an outfit to wear to Taylor Swift. I might have to buy something new as it is in less than 2 weeks now.5

@Rosa_Damascena - beautiful butterflies especially the one with the multicoloured wings.
@Miró - the Oliver Bonas dress is lovely and I think you're quite right to sew up the side slits. I can't imagine someone who likes the bodice and sleeves wanting to show their legs, can you?
@Wednesday2000 - why not buy new just this once, after all it is a very special outing.6 -

More importantly, how did you get Taylor Swift tickets? And do you need a +1?goldfinches said:@Rosa_Damascena - beautiful butterflies especially the one with the multicoloured wings.

My husband bought the tickets a while back. I can't remember what number he was in the queue, but we were lucky to get them.
