I've still continued to buy but won't be posting the clothing finds until they have been laundered. There have been some goodies and a few books

I found this the other week, for just 99p. (Retails new for £10+). Just in time for making Easter eggs:
No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.5 -
I've been busy opening boxes at the house but decided to call in at my local Salvation Army depot. I have no storage at the house so was overjoyed to spot these:

As you can see they've been thoroughly inspected. 🤣 £65 each which is a bargain. Now I have somewhere to store my china and glasses.
While there I also picked up a pair of lined cream curtains for £3.50 which I will have to shorten for whichever window I decide to put them - but I will have enough fabric to make cushion covers - , an under shelf basket for £1 and the 3 books below at £1 for the 3.
I have more then enough books but I'm a sucker for more; I can't be trusted around them. 🤣Aiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade BudgetDECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN - 2023 🏅4*⭐️ : 2024 🏅💐2*⭐️ : 2025 ⭐⭐⭐🏅🏅🏅🏅

I’m finding slim pickings at the moment, maybe because I don’t really need anything but also like others I’m finding prices quite steep. Recent purchases:
M and S sky blue sweatshirt £4.
Magia black velvet coat £9
Primarni white shirt with black and blue stripe down the arm £3
Topshop BNWT pale blue socks £1.
There’s definitely more going out in donations than coming in, which is good.9 -
I have been struggling to get back into charity shops a bit - a whole stack of reasons & excuses but yesterday the Fates took me by the scruff. Lo there was a Denby ferndale jug on a shelf I could reach, price reduced as no one else had fallen for it but still gift aid, and the staff very sweetly went long on tissue paper & a free big supermarket bag to get it home safely. The Acquiz committee would have been shocked at my spending an entire six pounds but that amount over several months?!
I did look for T shirts (as Youngest’s favourites are looking a bit thin) but the stock looked like what’s left after the regulars have been. Besides, he’s a picky mortal (apple not fallen far) so better he finds & I fund…11 -

Curiosity, (ahem nosiness), got the better of me so had to investigate........1930's? Gorgeous!

That is a lovely jug!
Slim pickings at the local shop here too. I feel we need nice weather for people to have a clear out and a declutter or move. The prices are usually good in the local shop but I'm after mirrors and they have not had any donated at the time I've been in. I always buy candles when they have them but those have been few and far between too.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!8 -
@Rosa_Damascena Battlelines have been drawn - the two of them might stop climbing on them, at least when I'm in the room. 🤣
@DigForVictory It's a beautifully styled jug.
I too think that CS prices have gone up recently - my spend has correspondingly gone down as I would rather do without than pay the new prices.Aiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade BudgetDECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN - 2023 🏅4*⭐️ : 2024 🏅💐2*⭐️ : 2025 ⭐⭐⭐🏅🏅🏅🏅
