Same here flamingo, the Choose File button works on the PC but not on the app on the phone.  I've tried giving it every permission I can find but still doesn't work.

@dND I have one but mine is blue. I use it for crumbles, my friend gifted me her grans for Christmas 22 and I use them to put the Christmas chocolates in. 

I hand wash them as I want to try to keep them looking nice

RD - broken things should be thrown away.  And lovely things shouldn't be kept in the dark in a cupboard.  My opinion obviously.  Others will want to put things away to sell or pass along.  OH has the family "turkey platters" which are so badly chipped I would never use them and yet they can't be chucked.  My mom has wine glasses produced by the first glass factory in Canada and therefore very valuable and they never see the light of day.  The platters should be used for a pigeon shoot IMHO and the wine glasses donated to a museum.  

CJ - the only long sandwich tray we have is one in the Christmas china pattern.  OH had bought it because it matched but didn't know what it was and was delighted to be presented an array of sandwiches one late December.  Frankly I think I would use it year round as it's so nice.

Delurking to say I'm VERY jealous. I have a lot of Haddon Hall - my parents were given some as a wedding present and my brother and I added to it for them over the years (mostly sales and ebay). My mum gave it to me not long after my dad died. I've used it occasionally, and once I've got the kitchen/dining area in my new house sorted, I'll be using it regularly. I think it's particularly nice for breakfasts in summer  

In the meantime I'm using Susie Cooper crockery that belonged to my grandparents, and occasionally having to throw out bits that are past it (I did weed out the worst of the chipped/crazed stuff when I was given it). The cats are eating off Susie Cooper saucers

You're right of course. I am using things up but should a mug / crockery break I don't shed tears over it (the chances are the firmer has come from a chaz). Ditto anything that is lent out and doesn't come back. But I do get cross when people "borrow" things and are then careless with them and they come back worse for wear.

Some great finds everyone, very jealous. Especially jealous of @Potternerd going to the CS mecca Penrith! I too think nice things should be used rather than stuck in a cupboard for 'best'.

I haven't done much CS mooching as have been saving my pennies BUT did trawl Sevenoaks today with DSis in search of things to put into 3 x advent boxes (Space NK, M&S, White Company) that I got for free on Olio and FBMP. I plan to fill the drawers and raffle them off in November for my charity fundraising.

I have 75 boxes to fill (eeek!) but today I got: 3 x nail files in Cancer Research 69p each, 3 x shower puffs in BHF and Hospice shop £2 total, mini body lotion in Hospice shop £free with any purchase, Soap and Glory body scrub and body butter £1.95 in Demelza, Toasted crumpet wrapped soap £1 in BHF, and DSis bought a travel, folding toothbrush and a face mask to add to my collection. I have some other items already (candles, other minis) and will add to this over the year. Will also add some Christmas Lindt or similar nearer the time. Was thinking of some gav!scon or similar too lol!

I’m very jealous of the Penrith bargains. My auntie used to live in Penrith and had done from the 1940s. Sadly she’s no longer with us so I have little call to head there anymore.
