Some great finds by you all. Loving the Enamel and stone picture frame.
Popped into local village charity shop and came out with a vegan cookbook for 50 p Spent a happy hour reading it and have found lots to try. I'm not vegan but would like to incorporate more plant based meals and there seem to be some great ones in here
Chatted with the shop and they were really struggling with the donations so were not accepting any that day as the store room was full, and they said they could not cope with the amount but so much was going straight to the rag man. Seemed a shame people were using them as a dumping ground rather than re-cycling themselves.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Quite get the idea of the vegan cookbook. There was a thread last year about cooking vegan and even a carnivore such as myself found it useful.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. A South Beach Diet cook book with recipes which take 30 mins or less, arrived from Oxfam today. South Beach used to be low carb, even keto. This has recipes using toast, spaghetti, brown rice, risotto rice and macaroni 😮 Lots of cakes and puddings using industrial quantities of erythritol too. Not very good value for money for me, then.5

I want an outfit for a party in a couple of weeks. I have seen that Mob Wife aesthetic is the new trend! I might look for a faux fur coat and a sparkly dress.🤩☺️2025 GOALS

@Miro - I love shoes like this and always have, ever since I saw "Lady Di" wear them in 1981! They are comfortable and practical, but are also suitable for work outfits.

Good luck @Wednesday2000 The village charity shop had a rail of lovely sparkly party dresses, seemed as if everyone had got rid of the Christmas party frocks! I dithered over a floor length blue dress but reason struck, I have no need of it and would have had to pay to get it altered as it was way too long and a chiffon flowing fabric that was beyond my needle skills.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I went into Salvation Army in Southend and saw a black faux fur jacket straight away. Size 10 so no good for me! I did buy a scarf in another shop for £3 as it was colder than I thought out.
The bus diverted on the way there and I went past a Sue Ryder shop that I had forgotten about.2025 GOALS
