Good news @beanielou and @ruby_eskimo. @NornIronRose sounds like a weight will be lifted from you when it happens. @Longwalker we are to have a M&S Food built here before too long, exciting though it is I wonder what it will do for the good small traders in this lovely little town, I think I will try and view it like I do takeaways as an occasional treat and not a frequent thing.
I have been feeling brighter and more energetic for the last few days which is a lovely place to be, but still need to get food planning and SW eating organised as I am out of range.
OH and I had a great day out today the sun shone and we drove about 20 miles up onto a ridge with tremendous views and walked along it then down and back along the valley. Stopped at garden centre for a drink and lunch and bumped in to my bestie and OH so shared a table and had a great catch up. Late home and too late for SW.
A question please - being out of range and paying weekly if I don't make a WI tomorrow will I be expected to pay for a no show this week, not sure if the fact that I was in range until 2 weeks ago means that I have lost the 8 weeks thing. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. @maddiemay, sounds like a lovely day you had, and what a bonus to meet with bestie as well . So glad to read your mood is lifting . Theres a lot to be said about the wee stretch we are getting in the evenings, not being in total darkness and artificial lights really clears my winter doldrumsThe town centre M&S has closed for this one to open. Its a shame, but then the town has been dying since the banking crash. Theres a mall that used to have HMV, all the female clothes shops and card shops that went bust back then, now its empty bar New Look, TK Maxx and Heatons ( not sure if you have them there? ) and the rest of the town isnt much better. The out of town complex has had its own problems. It only opened 20 years ago and not all the units went and have laid empty since. Luckily Home Bargains moved it which keeps people going to it.Marks have taken two units which were an electrical shop and fitted wardrobe shop - both who went back in the banking crisisOur town is thriving as its all small independents , won high street of the year last year. Sure we have Tescos , Home bargains and lidl at the bottom of the town - with lots of free car parking and they bring the shoppers so the butchers and bakers and clothes shops survive. The only chain in the high street is Savers and subwayBubbs, thanks for the recipe. Funnily enough I came on to ask for ideas for a taster we are having this week, I shall make little ones of those or make into balls and put on cocktail sticks - will be ideal. I have all the ingredients . Im guessing its just the maple syrup syns?0

Well done on grabbing something SW friendly for your lunch @MrsPorridge. 👍
Hope you're settling into your hotel by now @bubbs. You're at an ideal weight for eating out while you're away from home. Enjoy!
I'm planning to make the keema curry from the Slimming Eats recipe at the weekend . Sorry I can't do a link but if anyone wants to recommend a better one or any tips then I'd be glad to hear.
I'm finishing this week with 20+ syns to spare and been 100 % on plan so 🤞 I'll be at least STS by next week's WI.
