  • Thanks for the new thread beanielou. Hi to all the friends I've made on the old thread and to cuddlymarm.

Made a pasta dish yesterday with no syns so had that yesterday and today and will have the last of it tomorrow.
Hexa baby bels and reduced fat feta
Hexb 1 skinny dream bar and 1/2 portion of sugar puffs.
Snacks have been a bowl of fruit cut up.

Did parkrun yesterday and got another lovely compliment. Out for a very soggy walk today then will try parkrun again tomorrow as we have an extra one for NYD. Definitely feeling lighter when I run. Aiming for a PB at parkrun (5k) in 2024. And hoping to get to target by April then will decide what to do.

    Evening all,

*posted on other thread copied it over*

I have no idea where we are supposed to be posting? Thought the new thread was for that?

Good luck Longwalker you can do it 🥰

Rose , i dont drink either , i did when i was younger but it just does not appeal to me anymore. Like you i love food, but as Maman says it is not a diet and if you go back to eating as you did before you will end up back where you were before. Also after eating SW way you will have a bad tummy i did at Christmas because i couldn't stuff enough crap down my throat 🤣🤣but like you i am all or nothing so when i am on plan i'd rather not have just 1 as 1 is not enough.

Food today, ham and cheese spread egg wraps, tomato

Roast chicken, loads veg, gravy 4 syns , Bought yorkie!! 5 syns, not as nice as mine 🤣🤣

Pudding i am having baked apple with mincemeat hexb, cinnamon ice cream 😋

I agree @maman.  It's what I posted the other day on the other thread saying I'd post there until today and then move over to this one from 1 January but as both are going have been posting on both!  Not what I'd planned!

Morning all,  good idea to close the old thread Beanie, at least everyone will be on the same page now!

Looks like it's going to be a dry day today so it's back to doing some more washing and getting out on the line.  Will do that this morning while DH is at golf - he's not been for ages because of his painful knees but he's going to give it a go today with his buggy which means he won't need to walk as much.  Think he's really been missing it!  I know I've missed having time on my own!

Will be going over to Morrisons this afternoon as managed to order a TGTG bag which can be picked up between 4 and 6pm - I'm surprised they're open that long I thought it might have been Sunday hours.

I'm still trying to keep the syns low as still planning on going to group on Wednesday.  At least that way I still have a week before my holiday to shift anything if needed and won't need to book holiday and will have a good month after before I need to go to shift any holiday weight!  Well that's the plan.

    So today's food:

    B - mushroom omelette - P; S
    L - smoked salmon and cucumber sandwich - HEB; P; S; 2
D - LO roast chicken, air fried HM hashed browns, baked beans, tomatoes - P; S; F.

    HEA  - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - low fat spread 2.

As you can see from dinner tonight I've finally succumbed to an air fryer and have to say I'm loving it and wondering why I didn't get one before.  I've got the Ninja Flexidrawer so can use 2 smaller zones or take out the divider and have the full width of the drawer which I what I used yesterday to roast the chicken, potatoes and most of the veg and of course it cooks so much quicker than the oven.

The biggest problem I think is going to be not having chips and roast potatoes too often!!!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all

Happy New Year everyone, lets hope it's better this year. May those who want to get to target do, may those in target stay there, more to the point let's enjoy scrummy food and try new things 😂

Rose , my uncle and pap always had tea with us when we were kids growing up (lived 1 house away) if my uncle was stuck in traffic getting home from work, he would ring "our fan" my mum and say i am going to be late , so if we were having pudding he would have his pudding first 😂

Denise i never wash on NYD always told it washes all the good out the new year. Glad you like your new air fryer 👏👏👏
