A pound off for me this week (old scales).
Also started using my new scales so from now on I'll take the readings off those, there is a slight difference (I'm lighter so they're clearly spot on!!) but I have my start weight.
Well done everybody on sticking with it.5 -

STS this week.I’ve taken all the junk food out of my diet but I’m still eating a lot of dairy so I think I need to reduce that too if I hope to lose any weight.Save £12k in 2024: £13,542/£12,0005

STS this week.
Not bothered..... This week was a disaster, stress at work, my living room nearly flooded (it was a whole thing!) and I started on HRT!!
But I kept to my eating and exercise so I call that a win (also the pair of trousers I bought from Primark in a small, thinking I'll diet into them, actually fit now! hurrah!!).

Hello all
im just after a little advice please! Sorry if it’s not the appropriate thread but it seemed a good way to not get the ‘go to the gym’ advice!Im disabled, I can walk but not far. I currently do light weight lifting and resistance bands. I cannot do any floor exercises like sit ups etcSo please any suggestions for some new exercise I can add to my routine? I want to work on leg strength (can manage 2 assisted squats)
and arm strength. But any suggestions are very welcome.I’ve lost 2lb this month which has been a minor miracle!Life happens, live it well.5 -

Thank you @Pixie_CosmoUnfortunately I can’t swim due to not being able to get in my local pool unassisted and they’ve recently had to remove their hoist so if I got in I may not be able to get out. Hopefully once the refurbishment is done I’ll be able to consider that again. Thanks for the YouTube suggestion, I’ve found some bed exercises which is as good a place as any to start!Life happens, live it well.2

Morning all xx
Monday morning weigh in and it's - 1 lb for me this week. And I've given myself a 'lost a stone' award 😁
Had a stressful week at work and was tempted to fill my face a couple of evenings but resisted .... and now I'm really glad that I did.
Keep on keeping on. We'll get there 😊

I can report a loss of 1.5lbs this week - total 6.5lbs for the year!
Seems a lot but that's hypothyroidism for you. Doesn't mix with the cake, booze and fast food you eat when sad. Can't shrug a cheat off anymore.
Back on it this week. Aiming for the seventy something kilos in 4 weeks.
overall loss of 4.5lbs for the year.
My old frenemies booze and chocolate have tried to help/hinder, but I have averaged 9700 steps a day, and went back to the gym.
I'm trying really hard to cope with things, I really am.Keep reading books!
