STS this week I don’t know how I haven’t had a particular good weekend and not a lot of excercise must try harder5
-
I had a STS the same this week. I didn't move much last week as I was feeling so unwell so that might account for the reason. I am going to try to do some light jobs at the allotment this afternoon to see if that can kickstart me moving again.6

I promise myself every challenge that i'm going to keep on track with recording weigh ins
I think I have picked up everyone please shout if I have missed you or messed up.
Well done on everyone for weighing in again whether it is good, bad or ugly just remember if it was easy we would all be in a size 8which is what I'm telling myself at the moment as I seem to be one step forward followed by one step back.
Roundtuit you can use the thread anyway which suits you, well done on a great loss and passing your half stone mark.
Wishus i was once advise to measure myself (bust, waist, hips, top of arms / legs) sometimes when the lbs don't seem to be moving the inches are disappearing. It can work on those weeks when you feel you are eating really well and the scales show STS, I have been known to pick up the cat to see if the scales are broken!
I can relate with anyone not sleeping well, it used to be i had problems getting to sleep but once off i was ok now days i also wake during the night not always to pee but once awake I end up going to the bathroom as I'm awake! can I still blame the menopause at nearly 60 or do I have to start blaming my age now or a dodgy hip which wakes me up when i turn over. Tiredness is a killer I don't want to cook and I'm grabbing sugar stuff to pick up my blood sugar levels and with that comes the crash if I'm not careful.
I hope anyone feeling poorly soon feels better, don't be too hard on yourselves if you aren't seeing the numbers you want to seethe last thing we want to worry about if ill is diets and exercise at least we are nearly at the end of January i think they should have made that the short month and not February
Have a good week every one

Hello
1st weigh day -7.5lbs please Brambling.
Wasn’t expecting quite that much water loss. Will be interesting to see next week’s results as this plan has bigger portions and an extra meal than I’ve been doing the past couple of years.
Movement was just gentle daily stretches. Will try to get outside for some walk’s this week.

Weigh in day - lost 2lbs so really happy with that. I'm losing weight with walking and managing my snack intake first as I want to ensure it becomes a lifestyle change rather than a diet. I've only being doing the odd workout so the next thing is to try and increase the focused exercise.
I really struggle with working out because after work I'm mentally drained and I use my morning for the long dog walk. When I am exercising I feel ok but getting to the point of actually working out is difficult when I'm already on 0 for motivation. Got a few ideas I'm going to try out over the next few weeks.

0.5ib down - better than nothing, and going in the right direction!
I also struggle with exercise. I do walk pretty much everywhere, but evidently the place I live is quite small as I sometimes struggle to get to 10,000 steps a day. Before covid I used to go swimming regularly, but now the local pool is closed for refurbishment, plus trying to save money so swimming feels like a bit of an unnecessary expense. It's a shame, because I do love it.

Lurgy over for me but not the OH which is stressful and has resulted in another 2 pounds gone. Frankly I'd prefer the lurgy to stressing over him but wasn't given a choice. I suspect his ongoing lurgy is reducing his weight significantly. Shame we didn't have a starting weight for him as he doesn't do scales and diets (with the inevitable result....)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
