I have to say that this seems to be working for me. I have printed of a 100 square and colour in each sqaure when I've made a payment. It's working so far I think with a few extra smaller payments.VioletNewStart said:
Hi IrishRose12, that’s a great idea of dividing the total of your debt on one card by a hundred and aiming to make one hundred payments. I’m going to look at my different cards and choose one to make extra payments on top of the fixed ones going out each month. Even if not to clear the whole thing, just to clear some extra debt.IrishRose12 said:So far I've paid £70/£3,500
I'm going to try and pay 100 payments of £35 this year to try and get this card paid off/

I’ve paid 500 off this month. The month has not been kind… £1400 repair bill for my car has wiped out my savings. But al least I didn’t have to add this to my debt total.
Am so happy my debt has dropped well into the £7000’s which is better than in the 8000’s. Still makes me feel sick though

Made my minimum payments this month + OP's, totalling £233.08. Managed to pay off and close one CC account, so I'm now down to 2. Working on making OP's on the one with 0% ending soonest, this also happens to be the one with the lower debt. Going to focus all my attention on this one!
