  • Rather expensive CD player from ELC won't work with the adaptor - DH (bless him) wandered off in search of 6 c cell batteries and eventually found some but £16!! eek

Thing now works - but still not sure if adaptor or player is the broken part - back to ELC on thursday I guess.

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

  • Afternoon Guys!

Just had a lovely dinner with tons left over. We resorted to Aunt Bessie yorkies:eek:    as Im too tired and OH has done them a couple of time and he's got a cold. Everything else was prepped yesterday by our lovely lady helper whilst I was at the hospital, so needed to just cook the meat and stuffing:j :j :j :j ....easiest Xmas meal ever!!

Just watching Christmas Carol on E4....we watch it every year.

The dishes need to be put in the DW and thats basically it:D ...later will have buffet/leftovers/cheese & biscuits. Easy clear up!

Dont have the energy to do much else, so will put the WM on etc tomorrow. have made a list of stuff to pack as we are away on hols this saturday and OH has got the mini suitcase out.

OH got some great bargains last night from our local Sainsburys at about 9pm as we needed something. He spent £5.95 which included the 2 packs of bacon he went for at £4. He got 6 packets of FR diced chicken breast reduced to 10p, 2 packets of cod in breadcrumbs 10p, mushrooms 5p, rolls 5p, sausages x 3 10p each, Warburtons bread x 3-5p each, 2 pints milk 5p, humous 5p and a couple of other things:j :j :j :j ...most put in the freezer.

Anyway Im rambling. Take care guys.
