Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 25th Dec. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Just popping in to wish all my fellow Old Stylers a
Very Merry Christmas 2007
Hope you all have a good one

Whew, was too busy to get online yesterday, seemed to be on my feet in the kitchen frantically baking and cooking all day. OH has gone down with a serious case of man flu so I've been kept awake half the night by him sneezing and snuffling, things not looking good for a joyful day today:rolleyes: but, hey, it's Christmas, and I'm not going to let him spoil it for us.
Have Nigella's muffin mix all ready to whip up for breakfast, once the stockings are opened and the cat has had her special tin of Christmas tuna.
Have a wonderful, wonderful day, everyone!
Lots of love

Good morning everyone,
Merry Christmas & I hope you all have a lovely Christmas Day.
Granny Happy Birthday and here's hoping you get to visit the loft sometime today.
It's nearly our tea time here. We had a great day and DH took a little movie off his camera when I gave the presents out. DGS helped me. When he opened up Haribo's gift he just stood there with his mouth open and in awe he said *Jumping Man*It really made his day. I have got the theme song imbedded in my brain now. Thanks a lot Haribo.
I got an electric kettle for my present. Obviously my last week of being good didn't pay off.Must try harder next year. <hugs> to me.
Kyle That's poo bad.Twink you're needed over at Kyle's. Finish off your hot toddy now.
Well I suppose I'll have to find more room for tea soon. DH did suggest a walk but I'm far to lazy for that. Been cool here today, thank goodness. ByeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
