Sounds like most people are having a calm start today (apart from Kyle - not a good start to the day:eek: :eek: )

Queenie -Lovely to see you back and taking your proper role as thread opener:j bet you never could have guessed how successful your idea of the daily thread would be. Come and visit again soo I really want to hear all your news(theres a small sherry in it for you:beer: )

Im going to get myself ready soon then its next door to deliver pressys then off to Linconshire for my christmas dinner:D Couple of hours drive so ill pump up the christmas music to pass the time. Havent opened any pressys yet but I suspect I may have joined Aussie on the naughty list (a kettle:eek: :eek: :rotfl:) back home Thurday so I probably wont be around till then

Merry Christmas everyone and Happy Birthday to Edinburgh Lass.

Thank you all so much for your birthday wishes today and your pm's yesterday. Now in the right frame of mind for Christmas and have spoken to DGSs1 and 2 to make sure Santa had been. I have told them that Santa has been here too so you can imagaine they are as high as kites!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see them all.

Will be having my special birthday breakfast soon - we are having grilled prawns this year with a bit of fizz!

Off to the loft imminently Aussie to get the crackers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kyle, so sorry to read about your son. Hope he feels better soon. I am sure Twink will be there soon to give a helping hand.

Kids got up at 2.30am and opened stockings!!! But went back to sleep until 7am, dh feels ill, headache and sick, but we are having a great time, cant see the carpet for wrapping paper.

All quiet here. My two DSs are 24 and 19. One up playing a computer game and the other still snoozing. Washing machine's on, thanks to DS1 bringing me a load back from his stay at his girlfriend's:rolleyes:

We've opened our stockings but the pressies under the tree have to wait until after dinner and all the dishes have been washed and dried and Mum and dad both have a lovely cuppa and an after eight before the madness starts!:santa2: it's a family tradition on oh's side and I thought I would never get used to it but it is great as everyone helps get dinner going and with the clear up afterwards so that they can have the pressies.;)
