    Here's to a good weekend all.

    I managed to move a bit of my TT pot over to another account to help build up a little bit of interest.

    Hope you are doing OK with moving those pennies and making them work for you.  It will all work out when getting them together.

  • I haven't updated this as often as I should have but my TT fund currently stands at £52.59 😁

    I'll be rounding down my various pots tomorrow once the interest is added so the fund will hopefully increase a bit more 🙂

    Hi all,
    End of the week roundup and it's £10.25, so that's all off to a higher rate interest account.
    I think I will have to rethink my target for the year as I seem to be at it already!

    @Divingmad excellent work.

     Have you considered doing a new TT pot and maybe splitting TT 1 pot into 3 i.e to pay towards CC and EF keeping a 3rd in your savings. They all win then. Or pay £600 toward the CC and round it down that's if your signature numbers are up to date. Especially if your account is attracting interest. You may have other plans though.
    This is the diced lemon when you get some money and trying to find ways to make it work even harder to get to the level playing field again.

    Hi 2Scratters,
    Thanks for the reminder, CC balance now updated!
    I'm fortunate that my CC debt is all 0%, so am currently paying the minimum each month whilst also putting some aside to ensure I have sufficient to pay off the outstanding sum at the end of the 0% offer (which I work out to be £40 a month needed).
    The remainder of the tidy-uppers gets split equally between EF, house renovation and holiday fund. It's all earning 4.1 to 5.5% interest so it's clocking up nicely.

    @Divingmad well done making steady payments.
    How refreshing and very very helpful for a particular bank to be able to offer good rates of interest. For those of us with not much and those at the start of their debt reduction/free journey it makes a massive difference and being able to see the "pain" is paying off. I think the UK banks have had it for far too long of messing with peoples lives and keeping them in debt. There are some banks smelling the coffee to give hints and tips how to be more aware of money and making it work for their customers. Lets face it if we had money it would be in the bank (with better interest) in the first place and they'd still be making money.

    OOh just managed to move 1.94

    Have a good week all
