Tilly Tidy 2024

Options
Hi All,

this is a small start to getting savings together.

It's that simple.

We all have varying reasons of doing a Tilly Tidy (TT) some of us have not got a lot to play with i.e spare change to start saving with. Some are on a more advanced way of getting there. There is no judgement - it's just about starting that ball to roll. It may get taken from savings from time to time as needs arise but hey! that is what it is there for and a pat on the back is well deserved for having something there.

If we can manage to round up ourselves (even on top of the auto roundups you may have on a bank account) This does work, it is not a race, nor are you competing with anyone other than yourself if you wish. We all have different journeys that we are on. Pop in here at anytime for support or questions you may have.

I've missed tilly tidying, and I still do it, but I've not tracked it properly for years. So I've bookmarked this to pick up the good habit again 🤗.

I'm going all in for 2024, so definitely getting back into this! I have restarted tidying in the last 2 weeks to get myself going again, and managed to put around £30 away already - it's so effective!

  • Afternoon,
I'm in for 2024. Had quite a good 2023 even though I started mid way through the year, so looking forward to seeing what I can do in 2024.

    I'm in!!

My plan is to TT the pennies from the grocery and petrol budget every week and also the pennies from all the various 'payment' pots every month. My bank does it's own 'round ups' so that will be TT'd annually, I also get cashback so that will go into the TT fund too 😁

Welcome aboard all on this journey of being wiser with those little pennies.

Do any of you pick up change off the floor? I do. I curtsy down to pick it up that is my way of saying thankyou. I do check to see if anyone is looking like they have lost something too. These finds go into a cash pot we have in the house. This change can be handed into the post office for free if you prefer to keep it on line and in your bank account. I don't use the change counter machines as they take a charge from your money and we need it more than they do!  ;)

Here's to doing some more in 2024
