I just wanted to say that I think this is a really worthwhile habit.
I've been faithfully rounding down to the nearest ten pounds and moving it into my emergency fund savings account.
It's so simple and you would never miss the money but it builds up really quickly! I'll post my total for May at the end of the month.Jan 2022

@Prodigal50 Yep! its exactly that. Small bit that would otherwise just be ignored. The skill (habit) is to make our money work for us and not us be the slave to it. It is a skill that is not encouraged and the "marketing of debt/life style" does not want us to be educated about us being able to manage OUR money. I wish I had learnt this skill earlier in my life instead of living in debt.
