Tilly Tidy 2024

Morning Peeps,
I've just moved a small sum of money due to not having been spending and there are no DD's that go from this account. My total for the month so far is £13.41. It's progressive doing this but it will be fine. Not even been shopping where I sometimes use my card then taking the cash from our housekeeping purse to pay me back. I have had a high number of no spend days (NSD) so far this month and this has really worked out well for us.
Keep TTing Peeps have a good weekend

Hello. I’d like to join this thread. I’m at the start of repaying my debts and as part of that I want to build up some savings. So far this year I have put two payments in a savings account: £80 on payday and 0.28 from grocery change.1

@VioletNewStart you are very welcome to join us here.
You are off to a good start with a new journey of repaying debts. It built up in time and will take time to disappear too. Hopefully you will be happy as it starts to go down with each payment made. Small change adds up too.

Evening fellow tidy'ers,
Thought this year I would do things a bit extra, so at the end of the month i will total up anything left from the monthly budget. Soooo, it transpires that I had £223.57 left over in the account and along with the £84.83 tidied over the weeks, it gives me a mahoosive £308.40! 😁
Happy tidying

@Divingmad that's some figure well done.
I managed £20.08 - I've not been spending much so there has been little "bits of change" hanging about in my account. We have a house keeping budget of cash that is kept in a purse and is used for all shopping. The cash allowance is not moved until that runs out, so it just rolls over from payday. Currently it is sat in an account accruing some interest at 4.1%.
Happy Tilly Tidying

Evening all,
It's Sunday, so tidy time from the round up/down accounts and it's £9.23, not bad for 4 days!
Happy tidying all

Steady away @Divingmad
How is everyone else doing?
Would love to hear from you.
Any small amount can be paid towards a debt. 40p would not be refused, this is a bonus of online or app based banking of being able to just move the money to where you want it to go.
