Everything that needed to be done today has been done and I'm off to bed - not really much earlier than usual, but I'm usually awake by 7.00 am anyway.

Another social day here, so barely managed S&S of kitchen and bathroom. Haven't even eaten a meal here!

Tomorrow is critical admin day, so I doubt much more will be done.

I got a new broom today, one of those silicone ones, a treat from Mr Flamingo as he knew I wanted one

CoG .. I believe red cedr wood is advised as a moth repellent.. you can get some which are infused with organic stuff but it can sometimes cause allergies or breathing issues. The best things is storing over winter in the vacuum sealed bags which keeps the beasties at bay.

Dance.. I'm guessing it is really stressful at yours ((hugs)) I hope you managed some peace over christmas and time for yourself xx

Two cuppas later I have emptied the DW and filled in my 2024 calendar. My aspiration for the day is to take the tree and all the decorations down, then hoover and mop through. Once again, no chance of starting the decorating as I simply cannot ventilate the room whilst we have this horrendous weather. I just hope the animals are okay when I go out😕

It is all calm here, morning after the weather of the day before, but nothing as bad as some of you have been getting it. DH is still in bed, which is frustrating me - since retiring, he acts as if he has all the time in the world, conveniently forgetting all the jobs which he saved until he retired, as he allegedly didn’t have time whilst working. **sigh**, and rant over. For now.
I am up, clean washing folded, ready to take down some decorations discretely, as the clutter is getting to me. Luckily we don’t have so many this year - see above comment about DH, who only got half down from the loft!! I need to do some serious admin today, but the office has been taken over by DD for her uni assignment and it is a pita to retrieve everything and move it all downstairs. Grrrrrr, I feel a distinct possibility of some rage cleaning coming on.
Cuppa anyone? Help yourself, apart from ASB, as I am taking her up one so that she can have a lie in.

just woken up, woke up a couple of times for the loo during the night so…

Checked the weather forecast so loads 2 and 3 will be going out on the line.  I’m going out for brunch with my friend and her OH.  I was going to ask to be picked up later as I had misread the message and thought it was lunch.  

I put the recycling bins out last night.
