thanks everyone, definitely moving easier today. Brain hasn't retained a couple of things i was going to respond to other than that parent who dared call anyone else 'tight'. You'd think people would have a bit more tact in current financial and also on environmental grounds of not wasting clothes for the sake of a badge change. Well done for laughing at her.

I have no idea @Crazycatlady2 but we have one called Gerald I need the same advice for!
Nothing decluttered again. There's not as much to get rid of nowadays. But I'm going to list the toys on o'lio this week, they're not selling on F-B. I don't care about the money, just want them goneMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Sunday is an overcast damp day but temperature is 12C although it feels cooler due to the chilly breeze. Up slightly earlier 12:45 & now settled down with my cuppa & raring to get going on the cheerleading 😉
Excellent decluttering retiredinfrance 👏 The hamper from the Commune Council is a wonderful idea & I see that you & DH enjoyed the best bits 😊
Brie, just wondering why there is such a time gap in fitting the kitchen floor 🤨 Sorry to hear that OH is unwell 🤧 but well done on resisting his idea to just put everything back into the kitchen - I agree with you that only the items you really want to keep should be returned to your new kitchen 👏😊 Hopefully the method you have chosen of laying everything out on a table whilst deciding what is returned will Not get boring 🤞 More like an exciting adventure & an opportunity to declutter as much as possible 😊 Good luck with the mugs 🍀
Excellent decluttering BudgetingBelinda 👏 Woman 1 + £12 - Wardrobe 0 🥳 Do you have any more wardrobes 😉
tibawo, sounds like DD1 has yet to be inducted into the “Mysterious Art of Decluttering” Club 😉 although as you say at least her heart is in the right place as she wants to help with the cleaning 🙂 Presumably as DD2 lives at home, she understands your method 😉
flaming747, sorry to hear that the bad cough is still lingering 😔 Remember anything out is a win & another step along your decluttering journey 👏
bamboo_socks, my oven gloves have burn marks all over them (& I use an electric oven)🤨 so no judgement from me 🙂 I think that ‘setting fire’ to an oven mitt is probably a regular occurrence in kitchens all over the world 😉 I will pop by later for a taste test of the lasagne 😂
Crazycatlady2, just look at it this way - the sooner DD passes her test the sooner she can collect the curry in future 😊
Great idea flamingo747 👏
Crazycatlady2, sounds like a very sensible idea to clean the shower whilst you are in it 👏
Just off to make a 2nd cuppa before resuming the cheerleading.

@Brie should if gone to Specsavers 😭
Eldest takes me in car to collect food but he doesn't like going inside and last few times w had delivery from there it took ages 😭. ironically DD works in a takeaway but we don't always use hers as we prefer a different pizza place and they don't do curry anyway
My tree doesn't have a name 😱 hope that doesn't mean he less likely to survive
I decided to write myself a deep cleaning list to last me next 3 weeks till half term. I'm going to ask eldest 2 to help pick a couple of things and deep clean own rooms in holidays...wish me luck19 -
