Hello all, sorry to have been missing again but RL and my Dad are taking up a lot of my time. Dad's now broken his glasses and I can't get him an appointment till new year so he'll have to wear an old pair to tide him over despite him creating such a fuss about it.
Not much decluttering has been done although I did try plate juggling again when a crockery shelf decided to tip forwards onto the floor. Thankfully only 2 tea plates were smashed but it's a pity really as they were the last of my old flowery set.
I'm still in an out of the TLC carriage so have left tons of mince pies and sausage rolls for everyone to share. I had to duck in there again this week as I knocked myself silly when retrieving a large tub of coleslaw which I had knocked out of the fridge, luckily it didn't break but on standing up I caught the corner of the fridge door of the fridge freezer with my head, then not satisfied with that I walked into an open top kitchen cupboard door. I'm a walking disaster lately ! I was seeing stars 🥴
Out today all the rubbish bins and recycling boxes, the cardboard one was bursting with all the packaging and boxes from deliveries. We must be keeping the delivery men really busy this year 🤣 Thank goodness for online shopping I didn't feel up to braving the shops this year.
I was saddened to see so many poorly and sad people on here. Personally I can't wait to see the back of this year and I'm hoping next year will be better. My hopes extend to everyone on here, we could all do with a break from illness, sadness and disasters. Thankyou to everyone for being so supportive 🧡
Take care all🎅 Merry Christmas and a very Happy and Peaceful New Year 2025 to all. 🎄

Managed to sell a die cutting machine, so ending on a little high 🙂 also had pick up of a bag of teddies 🥳
I'm now considering my plans for 2025, but need to see what Christmas presents/sale items come in first!17 -
Thank you MrsSD for my star.I really am not sure I deserve it but whilst I am away for Christmas I am planning the cupboard tidies so hopefully 2025 will be a much better year and I won't estimate so high?🤣

I set off for Al.. this morning and told Mr F to meet me there - he walks slower than me and I thought that I could get most of the shopping done by the time he arrived at the shop. I phoned him when I was ready to pay for the shopping - he was still on his way - I paid and had to wait for him.
Mr F went off home with the shopping while I popped into town.
When I got home we had a tea break and then went to SA. There was a black sack of clothes by the recycling hopper which had been ripped open and rifled through. The first job was to fetch that indoors and sort it. Mr F followed me to SA and unblocked the hopper - people try to stick too much in and soon block it.
I sorted out clothes donations and found a new item - C's wife promptly gave it away to someone. I was miffed as after over an hour of sorting rubbish - that was the item that I could list on V.
I spoke to C who said it was good that it was given to someone - so I got the hump and came home.
I know we bless people but I felt miffed.
I wrapped and labelled a parcel and Mr F took it to the post office.
Very cold here today.

Florenceem, maybe you should cut down on your volunteer work a little & let C's wife take some of it on? I'm sure she'd love to do all the sorting of donations that you do, but if she gives stuff away cash income will drop 😉 You did really well to get £1,000 in a short time!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

OH went to pick up the turkey etc and luckily only came back with what he was supposed to. He did say he had planned to get another box of biscuits to go with cheese but forgot when in the shop - I am much relieved as we have plenty.

@Muddy_Walker i think emails are a 2025 goal!
Just broken a glass , one of 4 and think I may give the other 3 to the CS.
Have a new CS bag with some trousers, 2 duvet covers and pillows, 6 crockery items, a blouse to be added when dry from the wash , also a sheet and bed protector in the donation hub bag,
Been looking for extra things for DDs stockings and found lovely notebooks saving for best so they will be added.
DD1 coming round to stay tomorrow for a couple of nights having moved into her new flat tonight so hoping I can give her a few more things to take.
Take care and wishing everyone a peaceful and happy christmas x

Hi all, sorry I didn't post yesterday, I was quite tired after the carol singing thing and had a quite lazy day. Today was a bit better
. Over the past 2 days a candle was uu, now down to my last biggish candle, the candle jar was put into the recycling as it had cracked. I have delivered all the local cards, 3 gifts and a gift bag out. 2 LDFPA including finding somewhere to store the massive blanket. The kitchen recycling, kitchen bin, lr recycling, lr bin and the bedroom recycling were emptied and some ironing has been done. Various text messages have been sent and answered. About 100 photos and videos from my phone have been deleted and I spent ages trying to sort a fault on my laptop but it's not having any of it. I have finally admited defeat and will have to bite the bullet and get a new one. I am perusing the sales and will probably get one in the next week or so. I just can't cope without one
1st world problems eh 😳. I also spent some time watching the footy on tv.
. The crochet continues to grow
The baby has not arrived yet, due on 20th and the latest is they have an appointment with the midwife next Friday!!!! To be fair the original due date was Christmas day but it was revised after the second scan so we are all just waiting
I am falling asleep now but I thought I'd better post as we have the last 2 visits tomorrow before we settle down with the veg prep etc and I am determined to have the kitchen cleared before I go to bed. OH has been making lasagne tonight and I have just walked away from the mess, why on Christmas eve eve? I have given up asking such questions
Hugs to everyone who would like one and if I don't get back here for a couple of days I hope all the declutterati have the best time over the holiday period and take time to enjoy whatever you are doing and also find a bit of time to relax

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Sunday: Again did nothing but knit & watch TV. Dinner was pasta shells with a Bolognaise sauce. DSis was definitely feeling a lot better as she had 2 bowlfuls. Wudupa. A mixed day with the weather but consistently windy.

Monday: Up late (after 12:00 😔) I just cannot get going - any get up & go has got up & gone 😞 Spent the day knitting & watching TV including one of my all time favourite films ‘12 Angry Men’ the Henry Fonda version. DSis had an appointment with the Diabetes nurse + picked up her meds. DH went shopping on bike - vegetables, cream + drinks to take on our visits. Apparently it was a good job he went on the bike as it was mayhem in the sm car park 😥 I made mushroom risotto for dinner (finishing off a bottle of white wine) Wudupa. Less windy today but did have rain late evening. High was a measly 7°C 😉

Thanks for all the nice comments about my cat.
I haven't done any decluttering as I have got this cold and I've been mostly watching films while sitting on the sofa.😄 I watched three Ghostbusters films yesterday.
I did wash the bed covers this morning at least and dried them on the radiators. I will go and put them away in a minute.
I hope everyone on here has a nice Christmas whatever you are doing.xx2025 GOALS
