1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks 

2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m 

3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis

4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc

5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter

6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed

DH is finally up & about 🙂 I have my 2nd cuppa & have managed to do a little bit more cheerleading 😉 I am flagging now so will post this, put my iPad on charge & do a bit of knitting before returning 🙂

Liverpool_Anne, a busy Monday & sounds like you had a busy Tuesday planned as well 😊 Excellent decluttering 👏 Shame about the laptop 😔 but hopefully you will get a replacement in the sales 🤞I think the baby is waiting for you to finish the crocheting before putting in an appearance 😂

Sorry to hear about the cold Wednesday2000 😔 Hopefully you will be fully recovered for Christmas Day 🤞If not, I would delegate cooking duties 🙃 

Duchess2, pleased to hear that you managed to avoid the chaos on your last shopping trip 🙂 After reading such fulsome praise I am blushing madly ☺️ We are all so lucky that such wonderful people gravitate towards the decluttering thread 🥳

regnbue, maybe they usually do their Christmas shopping in November 😂 Hopefully now that you have your meds & the last of the shopping, you are happily ensconced in the TLC Carriage with your desired companions 😊

So lovely to see you basketcase 👋😊 Sorry to hear that life has been so hectic especially the car breaking down just before your Christmas market break 😔 Very pleased to hear that your trip was slightly cheaper than expected & that you had a good time 😊 Also very kind of the garage to get your car repaired so that you didn’t have to struggle with public transport this week 😮‍💨

London_1, sounds like an absolutely fabulous Christmas 🤩 & so pleased that your DD & grandsons managed to get you to rest 😉 Although I do appreciate that it took ALL of them to take you in hand 😂

I have had a lovely day - lots of presents from DH & DSis - ranging from slippers to LED Push Lights to DVDs to Jaffa Cakes & Smarties + a beautiful vase from my DSis see pic 

+ a Magic Cube  from DH. He had bought one for himself & had been trying for several weeks to get it back to a cube 😉 DSis & I both had a go & then I sat for another 15 minutes & was successful (more by luck than judgement 🥲) much to DH’s annoyance - although it made my day 😂 DH prepped most of the vegetables & whilst I did the vegetables & turkey cooking, he cooked the venison & duck breasts. There was also turkey accompanied by roast potatoes & parsnips, honey glazed carrots, cabbage, broccoli & sprouts with bacon, chestnuts & honey. DH made gravy. We sat at the table - champagne for DH & me & a Snowball for DSis. DH has made a focaccia & whilst it was proving I did the wudupa. I did finish the baby blanket 😉

I do hope everyone has had a lovely day - whether it was quiet or noisy 😊 Happy Boxing Day 😉
