180 digital photos gone this week. It’s amazing the junk you take photos of and end up keeping. Can’t think why. Not much moving out of house but planning on a splurge betwixt Xmas and NY. Good to hear Mr F is on a more even keel. Beautiful cushions @Florenceem. I too wish I were more crafty, but after various efforts through the years, I think it’s best left to the experts😂 Everyone sounds as though they are making steady progress. Sorry about your back @crazy-cat-lady_2. Hope you and all feeling poorly make good progress. @London_1 Lovely that you have your lounge finished and you can get your bits and pieces around you again. Should help your recovery. Have a good trip @vulpix. Unfortunately “decluttered” an old friend this week. This time of year makes it more sad somehow. A poignant day yesterday. We have relies and friends in three different cemeteries, so we took wreaths to all and remembered them. Trying to buck my ideas up and get the final bits of last minute food for Chrimbo, but not sure I’m ready for that particular skirmish just yet! Another cuppa I think. Have a good one all.15

Hello All, why oh why is December so busy! Work is still busy but a calmer busy, minimal decluttering, sold 2 more things on V, my sister had 5 books and box of 20 beauty items.
No presents wrapped but hoping to get them done on Sunday and buy any last minute bits.
Wish we had booked a holiday somewhere hot to have a break.17 -
Hi all, not sure where the day went yesterday
. Went to the sm and while I was out and about I went on a hunt for the last Christmas present, a pair of earrings for ln. It took a while just finding a shop as 3 local jewellers have closed and I really didn't want to have to go into town but I did eventually get them. While on my travels I found a new to me cafe and popped in for a take away coffee as I hadn't had my second cuppa
. It was a small cafe but with a display of absolutely gorgeous cakes. It reminded me of one of those little Parisian patisseries. It was so lovely I asked if they made them or bought them in. The lady baked them herself and I promised to go back and get something when I was next passing but the choice was too much right then when my head was full of earrings
. I think she had trained in France as she was talking French to her OH so I think they will be worth the trip back
Finally got home and put the shopping away and had a cuppa. Straight into present wrapping and was just about to put all the paper and paraphernalia away but OH still has things to wrap apparently
1 managed 1 of the phone calls so that is a frog sorted. The rest I WILL do today. I filled the bird feeders as I had picked up some more fat balls they seem to like, I still haven't sorted out the order for vine house farm but it's on the list
1 LDFPA and another pair of socks into the rag bag
. I have absolutely loads of socks and have been on a mission to wear some of them out since lockdown but they seem to be virtually indestructible
After tea I did some crochet
@Mrs SD sounds like the family birthday was a great day out. OH has nearly cleared up the kitchen mess but the fridge is still on the list
. As for the champagne flute OH will probably get anothe 2, they come in pairs, but honestly we don't need them
@Crazycatlady2 I have no experience really of selling houses but I suspect there are not many people house viewing right before Christmas and it will probably pick up after the holidays. Take care of yourself, you don't want to be ill over Christmas, hugs
Broke off to deal with some text messages
@Florenceem the cushions look lovely. Hope the sewing machine arrives safely
@TC77 maybe if you have forgotten the bags of things you will be able to send them straight to the cs but I know if it were me I'd still have to go through them and probably decide I need to keep most of them
@Brie well done persuading OH to take the glass
@Duchess2 I know what you mean about the skirmish in the shops, I am not looking forward to the fresh veg run
@Fizz2015 maybe you can plan a sunshine break for next year
Ok so the washing has finished swishing and I need to sort it so hugs to anybody who would like one
1901 LDFPA
1902 socks to rag bag
1903 frog phone call
Take care everyone

Wednesday up very late just before 13:00 😔 another dark miserable day 🙁
Florenceem, another busy couple of days 🤩 Please, please make sure you get some rest 🙏 as I am sure the rest of this week & next week will be even busier 😥 Hope your new sewing machine has been delivered safely 🤞The cushions are beautiful 😍
Great decluttering TC77 (especially the sales - nice to earn a bit of money) 👏 Shame that your friend has ‘chosen’ to return your ‘bags of stuff’ this weekend 😔 However, as you had forgotten all about them you might have an advantage - presumably you haven’t missed the items so hopefully it will be easier to make decisions as to their disposal 🤞😉 Good luck 🍀
Great decluttering Brie 👏
Duchess2 great decluttering👏 & good luck with your plans for the last week of the year 🍀 Lovely cheerleading 😊 So very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend so close to Christmas 😔
Fizz2015, this “Wish we had booked a holiday somewhere hot to have a break.” did make me smile + in true ‘bah humbug’ mode I would add the proviso of no Christmas celebrations 🤣 although I suppose that sounds more like a summer holiday 😉
Liverpool_Anne, sounds like a good day yesterday & hopefully you will get to visit your new found café sooner rather than later 🤞 I must admit to salivating as I was reading about the cakes 🤤 Fingers crossed that you get more frogs sorted 🤞especially as you are so close to reaching this year’s decluttering target 😊 Lovely cheerleading ☺️ & I am sending ‘you must NOT buy vibes’ to your OH 😂
Hope everyone is having as good a day as possible & that our poorlies & our exhausted declutterati find time to rest & visit the TLC Carriage 🙏 See you later 👋

I listed on V yesterday evening. Sales have slowed. Just £3.50 sales yesterday.
Today was the Christmas meal for friendship club. I was tackling the mountain of donations in the foyer. I had help - we put a table outside filled with bits - had to be careful what we put on the table as it was a windy day.
My parcel was due so Mr F went home to take it in.
We did around 60 dinners - I took a dinner/pud to an elderly friend.
I had filled my recycling crates so now was stacking filled bags in the foyer. More donations kept arriving but when I left I could see where we had worked today.
I took my dinner home and enjoyed it in the afternoon.
Only done 8000 steps today but I feel tired.
Wrapped and labelled sold items and Mr F went out to post them. There is one item that I haven't found yet - I will look tomorrow when I am refreshed.
Just had my pud of Christmas pudding and custard.
My sewing machine is in a huge heavy box. We got the delivery man to put it in the porch and when we got home - pushed it along the floor into my craft room. I haven't opened the box yet.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

florenceem, when I opened my machine it had lots of little bits and bobs in bags and shaped polystyrene. I put notes in the bags and shapes as I removed everything as I thought i'll never remember where all these bits go if I ever have to return it.

Nothing put today, except a card to neighbour.
@Liverpool_Anne , friend did me a favour with the bags, and yes I'll go through as may be better version of soem things I have here. Biting my tongue as dd2 is home and my newly tidied and cleaned house ( or parts of) no chaotic . She came home at the weekend and had dealdiwns yesterday and tomorrow , so hoping will help tidy up before I have friends round Saturday. To be fair she is doing some things but I have got used to clearing up each night - at least in kitchen and just started to have dining room table clear!

Sold a watch and my dress making mannequin on eBay, had to cobble two boxes together to pack mannequin. Decluttered newspapers and padding and bubble wrap for packaging, pleased that they sold firstly but also that I am able to rid so much packaging.Posted five cards, pleased that was only five that needed a stamp on. Three neighbour cards going tomorrow by hand.
Decluttered a box of medical/tablet packaging - ours all go in recycling here. Got the equivalent of two more boxes to deal with tomorrow.
Roll on 2025 as I have a list for decluttering, selling and cleaning to work through.Hope everyone is coping well with their festivities. xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Hi all, confession time, I made a mistake in my numbers so I have edited my last post, hope it's right now, thanks to @Mrs SD comment which made me check it
. I had awarded myself an extra 90 items
.
Quite a good day as I cracked on with the phone call frogs and got through 5 of them. Still 3 on the list for tomorrow but I had had enough by the time I had done 5. I popped in to see ln as I haven't seen her for a week. I took in some scones I found in the freezer and we had them with jam and cream. OH was out for tea so I dug some veggie Spanish chicken out of the freezer and had that, space appearing in the freezer
then attacked the emails, 300 deleted
. Then did some crochet while watching the footy on tv, perfect evening for me
.
@Mrs SD dark and mizzely day here so washing on the maiden.
@Florenceem I am not surprised you felt tired with all that work. I hope you get time to unpack your sewing machine before Christmas.
@TC77 hugs
@suzeesu2000 well done packing the mannequin, not sure I would have known where to start with that
Going to bed now as I have a big list for tomorrow
Hugs to everyone who would like one
1904 - 1908 frog phone calls
1909 - 1911 300 emails permanently deleted

Wednesday: I have sewn in the ends of the baby blanket & made a dozen plaited bookmarks with the lo yarn - that is 2 more balls of yarn used up 🙂. See pic
Now started a 2nd baby blanket - slightly different colour way, same pattern but less wide. DH & I finished the hm soup for lunch. Chatted to my nephew who had phoned (from France) his mum. Dinner was sausages, mash, baked beans & plum tomatoes. Wudupa.
