Granny Kate, steady with the extension leads, you could end up like Mr V and have a whole shed dedicated to them !
Liverpool Anne, blergh to the bugs. I fell asleep in the bath and woke up in tepid water. Earache coming back on now it's getting dark. My elbow seems to be ok but I am restricting myself to only half an hours knitting a day. I am falling to bits.
Mr V has spent some time in the storage shed. We are very close to thrifting a Kallax with cupboards. Possibly tomorrow as we plan to finish the shed purge. Thrifted today one of those big tartan type storage bags full of other tartan type storage bags.
We nipped out to try to buy some crafting things I had seen online. The whole shop was turned over to Christmas decorations. It seems I will have to buy online. I would prefer to buy from an actual shop but I don't know of any haberdashers still open. I have exhausted Bury market, local fabric shop. Hobbycraft, the Works and The Range. We did buy a secret Santa gift of a teapot which has been asked for. I like to get any purchasing out of the way and enjoy a relaxed December.
Big hugs for those feeling not too well and just hugs all round for the heck of it. Vx

Floss - I don't know how or if I can set up V as charity. All I can see on V is donating to Ukraine.
Church this morning - lovely reflective service. We were down on numbers in our singing group today.
Drama after the service - we had a lost child - they looked on the CCTV and she left the Church on her own - she is 6 years old. Dad rushed home to find that she had decided to take off on her own - had to cross two busy roads!
I wrapped and labelled 20 parcels as more sales overnight and today.
I bought a rechargeable debobbler as the little one I had was battery operated. I do think that the little one works very well so I will use that first on a bobbly jumper and then go over it with the big beast. So I am getting through batteries and the sticky lint rolls from the Ike. shop which I use on garments before taking photos. Also use lots of sellotape but C supplied me with some of that.
I am not planning to attend the service in the town centre tomorrow morning as standing around in the cold wouldn't be good for my back.
At the moment counting is planned tomorrow when C gets back from the town service.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I am sure there are more than 18 items going to the recycling centre tomorrow, have given up counting and have just kept putting items in the boot of my car.
I hate wasting food but
446)-448) food items x 3 from DDs doomsday uni box into food recycling that the cat had weed on🙈
449) very OOD vanilla essence, what was left down the sink and bottle-recycling
450) Christmas pud I had had for years that I had meant to pass onto Duncle and never did-food recycling and tub into recycling. That pud was solid!Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Evening All, popping in to say hello. A lot going on in real life with family members getting diagnoses and ongoing investigations. Keeping everything crossed and hoping it will be OK. Work is mega busy, OH and I are juggling everything to do school runs and pickups. My work is fairly flexible thankfully. Just an awful lot going on and feel a bit drained.
Decluttering is not happening at the moment. I did make 5 jars of pickled beetroot today as well as batch cooking lasagne, cottage pie and swept the leaves in the garden with help from DD and the neighbours kids. I paid them with a Freddo & popcorn.
Hugs to those who need them.

Belated birthday wishes Mrs SD.Been busy with appointments this week so no decluttering as such and had a quiet day today to recover.
OH has defrosted fridge freezer and caught up with mega loads of laundry - managed to get it mainly dry outside and finished off in front of wood burner in small batches.
SM shop due to be delivered tomorrow. Plan made for using the next lot of tinned beans and lentils and fresh veg ordered accordingly. This week will be busy with cooking to refill the freezer and get some admin done in between.

Off to bed after spending time listing on V.
Sales of £38.80 today.
Mr F will need to take two trips into town with all the parcels tomorrow.
I have items ready for photos tomorrow - November light is not good for taking pics.
Our neighbours who had to move found suitable accommodation - wonder what the new tenants will be like.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

DH and I have both got this horrid virus. Both coughing for England as well, feel absolutely awful. Sadly only thing decluttered this week has been an armful of blood for a testing session for other health things. Got to get back into the swing tomorrow. Have taken some cottage pies from freezer for Monday dinner.. That’s my lot. Hope everyone has a wonderful, healthy week xSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
So much for carrying on with paperwork & continuing with a Master To Do list 😅 Instead I knitted & watched 2 episodes of Morse & 6 previously unseen episodes of The Walking Dead 😉 Dinner was slow cooked roast beef, roast potatoes & carrots, cabbage & Yorkshire puddings with hm gravy 😋 with special mention for the roast potatoes 😉 Wudupa.

@Suseesu2000 DH I still coughing and we’ve had lurgey for a month. Just can’t seem to shake it. When declutterring blood last week nurse said its very prevalent and long lasting, so “strap yourself in”. Hoping to take 2 bags of clothes to cs today, but have shingles jab at 11am, so will see how I feel later. DH felt a bit ropey after his. Lots of emails declutterred yesterday. Batch cooked cottage pie for tea so easy in case I feel bleurgh. Have a good day everyone15

Oh dear @Mrs_Salad_Dodger, my notifications completely failed me and I managed to miss all the pages about your birthday! I have just read back and am now sending extremely belated happy birthday wishes 🥳💐 Your family did well with the flowers, cake and Megan. Lucky for your sister that she lives with you so she can still enjoy her.I am on tenterhooks along with the rest of the Declutterati @GrannyKate regarding your move and am thinking of you.I see several have been struck by the horrible coughs and colds that are around and I hope you all feel better soon. The dentistry procedures are filling (!) me with horror as I have my annual check soon and I am phobic, however it is all useful information. I think you are very brave!
@dND - builders seem to have more work than they can handle these days. I am sorry that you have been stuck and unable to progress as planned.@retiredinfrance - it’s good to see you back after such a stressful time with your husband’s health. After lagging behind on keeping up with the posts I have finally caught up.I have had a week of trying to get some long overdue things done. My main success being cancelling my professional membership renewal and therefore completing my move into retirement. Loads of related paperwork has gone and it will also help reduce the emails I get. I am looking forward to not having to worry about any CPD for the year ahead too.Hope the week turns out positively for everyone. For anyone overwhelmed don’t forget the TLC carriage and @QueenJess amazing baking!16
