Echoing daisy, lovely to see you back @Muddy_Walker
Another item posted , post office told me too big, measured at home and fine as a big letter and other post office took it.
More hoovering and shocked at the dust and forgotten the true colour of some furniture. Henry bag needs emptying and still haven't found the charger for my other cleaner, I now just trust thar one day it will turn upalong with many other things, mainly socks, keys, and hairbrush.

Tc77 I've probably got your charger. I've amassed a bagful of chargers and cables and put a note on it saying they are ones we've tried in everything we can think of. I'm holding onto them just now in case (as we inevitably do) something else comes to light.
Cheers for thrift info vulpix.
Night night all

Ahh bless you Muddy. Take good care and get plenty of rest. You are all putting me to shame in the declutterring stakes. Well done everyone. Tomorrow is another day. Must try harder😃14

Got disability people coming Wednesday about a new bath set up so thought it’s time to clear bathroom. Apart from dust and cobwebs, decluttered an old hot water bottle and a scrubbing brush doings that has forgotten how to recharge itself so binned both. Also found lots of empty dental tablet tubes….all binned. Glad that job is done, especially as I was hacking, sneezing and wiping nose throughout.Tomorrow have to hoover the stairs as they are begging me to.
Anyone would think we live in a cesspit but we are on second round of this virus - had two weeks where we weren’t too bad and now we’ve both gone down with it again so cleaning has been a bit hit and miss. Want to get some bits posted to mum tomorrow too. So much to do this time of year and the days are just running away.
Hope everyone is doing okay this week. XSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

@Muddy_Walker - thank you for thinking of me. You take care also - sorry to hear about your medical problems. And 25 staples for your Mum - ouch is right.
I am going to ignore the new (old) person now coming into office. Our weather has been really strange leading to forest fires that are out of control further north and raindrops on us tonight - as I came home from the emergency room after a large heavy box (172lb) feel over my foot and made me sprain the back of my leg muscle getting out of the way. Doctor says I will be very sore for a few days. And this week is the book sale - I will letting everyone else do the work. I may not even make it to the sale - depends on if I can move around by then. The box contains the bookcase we are going to put up in the living room so we can get the boxes of books unpacked and out of the way. Going to take a lot longer to get done. Oh well.
Hugs for all those who are poorlie or just in need of a hug.15 -
@weenancyinAmerica hope you recover very quickly and make sure you rest and do get others doing the work!

Good Morning chums and hugs for the poorlies and folk who are feeling down.
Yesterday the weather was gorgeous, and the sun was really warm, and I even saw a patch of blue sky. On the window outside the conservatory was a ladybird which considering its November I thought was brilliant as they are usually dormant by this time:).
My son-in-law Simon spent the morning putting together a large storage box for the garden bits and bobs to go in, I left him to it as there seemed to be a lot of head scratching, and looking at the diagrams going on.
He's a lovely chap bless him, but not brilliant at fixing things together, give him a road system to design and he's all over it , give him anything connected with using a screwdriver and tools and its best to just make a cuppa now and again and silently steal away after its on the garden table.
Then after lunch our handyman came and screwed the pulley and brackets onto our new washing line metal posts that he had erected last week, he had a special drill that he used to drill the stuff onto the posts.
The almost clapped out whirlygig washing thing is destined to go to be decluttered to the tip along with a wooden stool that has a large crack across the middle of the seat.
That will get done at the weekend I think.
Builder is back today to do bits more, he took his wife away for a long weekend so we knew he would not be in yesterday. I think he's doing all the electrical stuff today, plus fitting the extractor fan in the shower room and top coating the woodwork so fingers crossed it won't be long before its finished the carpet man has the carpet ready to go down and also for the hallway and kitchen flooring but he can't do any of it until the builder is finished.
I know once its all done there will be more bits to go as I still have several boxes I've not unpacked yet in my bedroom. The decluttering will go on once stuff starts getting moved downstairs
Hope everyone has a good day I shall be using the new washing line today and daft as it seems I do prefer a high line to this whirlygig things which seem to be home for far too many spiders and webs at this time of year

Hi all, thank you everyone for your good wishes, I am feeling a bit better, still not quite right but better
. It was a good day yesterday, bedroom bin, bedroom recycling, 9 items to school, 4 LDFPA from the maiden
. 3 loads through the machine but still drying
.. Went to the dentist to collect my prescription to find they have moved. I tried to phone them to see where they have moved to but it went straight to voice mail so I will have to try to contact them today. Went on to meet up with my ex colleagues and sat and chatted for over 3 hours
. One of the topics was the state of our houses and one was saying his house is also in a mess and he was being overwhelmed. He wants to take a wall down but couldn't live with the gap in the carpet that would cause, he's a bit ocd with things like that and at the moment hasn't the money to get a new carpet. He also has a health issue that means his weight fluctuates so has a need for a range of sizes in clothes. He said he had 14 pairs of jeans in 3 sizes but doesn't want to get rid of any as he thinks at some point he will need them. We came up with a plan to sort his clothes by size and box and label those he currently isn't using and put them in the loft and keeping in the wardrobe only those things that currently fit. He thought that was a good idea and would help him get some control over his clothes
. My other friend who was there talked about how she had removed the bed from the little bedroom and it had turned into a rod
. It did make me feel better to know that I wasn't alone
@TC77 hope your friend lets you know soon about the cabinet but as she has stored it in your house for so long she probably hasn't got room for it now
@Vulpix, wow such a lot done
@Muddy_Walker lovely to see you, you have indeed had a tough time this year and I think you should not beat yourself up if you don't reach your target. This is one of the things that make me wary of targets, if they are not achieved we tend to feel disappointed but instead I think we should look back and congratulate ourselves on what we have achieved and accept we did the best we could given the things life throws at us. Look after yourself first, hugs
@suzeesu2000 hugs
@weenancyinAmerica please take care of yourself, if you do go to the book sale take up a supervisory role from a chair, hugs
@London_1, everthing seems to be coming along and having a builder and an odd job man is excellent
Right I have a load in the machine to put out and I need another cuppa so hugs to anybody who would like one
1701 bedroom bin
1702 bedroom recycling
1703 - 1711 items to school
1712 - 1715 LDFPA
Take care everyone
