Morning, @Fizz2015 , sending hugs and hope you're in the tlc carriage.
So much going on, @GrannyKate 95 boxes - sounds alot in one way but then looking round my house maybe not.
Booked van for next Monday to bring things back from my dad's. One place wasn't sure would fit in one van. Sofa, dining table ,bookcase , chest of drawer( s) etc. I know not decluttering.
But here I did get rid of table and sofa and chest of drawers waiting to be picked up ( but have realised things in it still).
Tidied up packaging- have so much but still hoping to use up with getting rid of stuff. Out old paint. Finished skirting of room dd2 and her friends nearly finished and booked diy person to do high up bits! This week hopefully so can arrange space for van drop.
Dropped card to old friend (lost touch) but she gave me a pretty victorian cabinet and explained loved it and getting things from my dad so does she want back as may have room now or is she happy for me.to donate to bhf or is there a charity she'd want. Not sure now how long I wait for her to come back to me?!
1652 now as previous 24 added and then yesterday's although have done some paper and digital decluttering so 1654.
Also text from friend last night checking she can stay Thursday..... think she asked me in June but I had forgotten. I will warn her that I am in disarray.... unusually. She will be fine but glad I've started doing hoovering and making abit more manageable.
Hope everyone's week goes as well as it can.

My house is an absolute tip. So much crafting in various stages of completion in the sitting room. I WILL get a lot of things finished today and then put everything away. The Christmas chair has so far had 2 coats of undercoat which very pleasingly has finished off the tin. I hope to finish off another tin of paint on a couple of top coats. using stuff up pleases me so much. I hate to be wasteful. This is where half my crafting originates. Most of it is to re purpose something into something more useful. I rarely buy new supplies.
It is a fine day so our bedding will be washed and pet blankets washed. Oh, Mr V brought the tea towels home from work. They have had 3 soaks. Yuk. Using them as they were has probably developed their immune system to super strength! Mr V never gets a cold. This must be where we are all going wrong.
The kallax is empty and about to be listed on thrift. This just shows how much has gone recently. Woohoo. The plan is to move another Ikea storage tower, the ones with plastic box/ drawers in it's place to give more elbow room in the studio. I need to wash the Edwardian door down before it is listed for sale, it is covered in cobwebs from when it lived in my brothers stable. Once the door has gone the storage shed will only contain what we need and will use. Once Mr V retires after New Year ( tell me anotherMr V has retired twice before) A lot more stuff will be given to the community project which helps young people on the DJ, broadcasting ladder. A lot of things have gone to them already.
Right, this is me getting on with it.

Hi all, spent a lot of yesterday in the tlc carriage otherwise known as the couch under a blankie or in bed
. I am feeling a bit better today, the headache seems to have gone along with the cough and my temperature seems to be stable so I hope to get a few things done today. Apart from the 4 big bags of presents delivered by OH I got the lr bin emptied and the kitchen recycling emptied. Today I have washing to deal with as the weather is better and I have to call in at the dentist to collect a prescription for toothpaste and last week I arranged to meet up with an ex colleague for a coffee so as I have a bag of stuff to be taken into school I will make sure I take that with me
@GrannyKate everything crossed all goes with the move, hugs
@Wednesday2000 lovely photo, yes it is still mild here as well
@Vulpix, hope the throat and earache get better. I hate earache, hugs, blergh indeed to the bugs. Waiting to see the pictures of the Christmas chair, your makes are always amazing
@Florenceem I have no idea how you set up a charity account on v but you should be able to set up a separate bank account for the sales, please speak to C or your bank about this as banks do report income to the tax office and you are supposed to pay tax on anything over £1000 from sales on places like v and seeing how successful you are with your sales I imagine you will exceed this. At least if it is through a separate account you will have evidence that everything paid in has been sent to the SA. You work so hard at this it would be a real shame if you ended up paying tax on what you have raised. Glad your neighbours were able to find somewhere else to live.
@Fizz2015 hugs, would your DD and friends care to come and sort out the leaves in my front garden. The council do sweep the road but we have lots of trees in the road and I think most of the leaves try their best to get into my garden
@Duchess2 good luck with the shingles jab, hope you don't have any after effects and the cough eases, hugs
@Moorviews well done on completing your move into retirement
@TC77 well done on the furniture moving. Re your friends cabinet can you phone her as knowing how erratic the post is it might be quicker.
Ok time to get moving, first another cuppa though
Hugs to everyone who would like one
1695 - 1698 gift bags, wrapping paper and card
1699 lr bin
1700 kitchen recycling
Take care everyone

@Liverpool_Anne. Sorry you have the lurgey too. Hopefully you will feel much better soon. It’s really doing the rounds isn’t it. Didn’t get to cs today. Spent the afternoon on sofa under a blanket, snoozing. Just have a sore arm after jab. Appparently you feel poorly after second one. At least that’s something to look forward to lol. Can’t do cs tomorrow either as DH is going fishing. He hasn’t been for a while so be nice to have a morning to myself. Have to stay home as we have a doggo with severe separation anxiety. Will take her for a nice walk and try and attack the ever increasing pile of ironing. Get well wishes to all those that need them and have a relaxing evening13

Mrs SD, OH says thank you for his medal.Sm delivery arrived and put away. OH cleaned my car and we cleared a small corner of the shed together - just 10 minutes and we unearthed a box of kindling which is now indoors for use, binned a few things, another item to go to recycling centre and several other things put away. One pair OH’s shoes put to one side for cleaning and bringing back indoors once done.
Started on admin and sorted out info I need to deal with a couple of frogs. Probably won’t do anything with frogs for a few days but at least they are ready to go. More old papers got rid of in the process.

Hello lovely people 🥰
It has been over a month since I posted……but I did skim read over 20 pages of posts.
i will update my terrible decluttering numbers when I am back downstairs as my notebook is down there.
I don’t think I will meet any of my targets and I don’t quite know how I feel about that….partly devastated and partly meh. But it has been a horrible year with family illness and work.
Me - I have an incurable form of cancer and my 28 day jabs keep it from getting worse. The treatment is worse than the illness and I can see why some want to stop but I keep on plodding on. I have tweaked some of my tablets which has helped 😋 I have also caught this horrible virus which fingers crossed is on its way out.
Mum finally had her kidney op and had 25 staples out today - ouch! She is doing ok and it’s now a wait for the biopsy results.
hubby is a star (mostly 🤣) through all this and the dogs are permanently glued to my side.
some excitement - we have brand new double glazing throughout the back of the house up and down so lots of money decluttered there….i had no idea how much difference it would make.WeeNancy you have been in my thoughts with the weather over the pond and now a new (old) president.
Florencem and Sebrie wonderful to see you back 😘
I will post a bit more later in the week xxxx⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering
