1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Will finish off Sunday first:
Spent half an hour clearing down emails & tidying electronic bookmarks + some knitting whilst DH & DSis went out for a walk. Hm soup for lunch - very tasty. Dinner was fried lamb steaks, roast potatoes & carrots + Yorkshire puddings with hm gravy. Watched episodes of TWD. Wudupa. I had a long soak & washed my hair.
1901 - 1902 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled
1903 Kitchen detritus binned
Monday is an overcast, rainy day with a high of 17°C & has rained since I got up at 10:00. DH & I were supposed to be meeting up with his niece S & her DGS R but it was cancelled as R didn’t sleep last night. R is very unsettled as his parents have gone on holiday without him - a week away travelling around mainland Europe using trains. First time they have had a holiday in 7 years, just the 2 of them 😊 DH went for his walk about 12:00 - heading to the Thames Barrier. DSis is doing her laundry & has tidied her room getting rid of recycling & rubbish 😊 DH got back just before 15:00 & we each had a bowl of hm soup. Enough left for lunch tomorrow 🥳 I have almost finished knitting a hat. Dinner was risotto cakes. Wudupa. DSis & I watched a very weird & quite gross film called ‘Fresh’ 🤔
1904 - 1906 Kitchen & bedroom recycling, drinks cans - recycled
1907 - 1908 Kitchen & bedroom detritus - binned
Fallen behind again so will catch up tomorrow 😉 Sleep tight 😴

@vulpix sorry for the confusion the clothing condiment is sea salt
Is your doll a cry baby Susan? where you tip her forward and backward to make her cry? I have one of those.
@Liverpool_Anne I'm sorry for the confusion you are suffering oops
@nannywindow be no longer flummoxed
@Moorviews you are definitely on it there thanksI too get distracted very quickly and have previously written stuff down about how I feel about things. I try not to revisit as they are not the best places to be but can remind ourselves of where we are now in comparison.
@TC77 you were braver than I at taking some pictures and posting them, you are doing an amazing job on your journey please don't underestimate where you are at this time.
Ladies you have proper(bad English I know, but northern) made me chuckle - sorry about that
What a great start to the day
More small successes with eating from the freezer and DH is now more on board with what we (I) am trying to achieve. He even complimented how tasty a frozen and revamped curry was the other night.
Another item sold on ebay and that is wrapped ready to drop at the post office on the way to parents house this morning.
My car boot is plentiful with stuff that needs dropping off all bagged up ready, just need to write my list in order of drop off to help keep my head clear and focussed.

Good morning,
Moorviews, and 2Scratters,yes I get it now, Thank you. As you might expect I am rubbish at cryptic crosswords.
Moorviews, I have written things down in the past and even written letters to people, then burnt them. It helps me in times of distress. Burning them is most cathartic.
2Scratters, my doll, Susan (no cry) was a gift from my step Grandma. Her friend had a wool shop and these dolls were mannequins for the shop window. She is the size of a one year old and is actually chubbier than my one year old Grandson. I would post a pic but she is back in the loft now.
Nice to see you Florenceem, and to hear that Mr F is doing ok. As everyone has said, I am sorry to hear that your back is giving you problems, even so you have managed to do outstanding work for the SA. Here's hoping that physio will help.
The cabbage patch dolls went to the chazzer yesterday. I have thought that a pair of Christmas slippers can go today. I only wore them at last years Vulpixmas but they arn't very comfy. Too much foam in the sole, they are too bouncy for me. I am unsteady enough on my feet as it is, without springy shoes!
take care all. Vx:14 -
Morning all - just.
I had a pair of trainers listed on Vinted - sold them today for £20 so that is how the money mounts up. My friend gave me 2 pairs of shoes - they sold straight away.
I keep a record of how much I list in a day and how much is sold. Every penny goes to SA and I get receipts when I give over the cash. I will probably end up paying tax as the V account is in my name.
I sold items to the value of £53 yesterday. Last week I had a day where I sold nothing and another day - only made £2.
I check everything for marks and damage then press using a can of easy iron & starch so items look as good as possible for photos. 17 items were pressed and photographed ready for listing this morning.
Mr F has just gone out to post parcels.
Dismal overcast day here - wet overnight.
My back is painful so I am having a rest from sorting and ironing.

Hello Florenceem!!!
Glad everything is ok (ish!). A sturdy chair and a hot water bottle or heated pad for the back! If you go to Lidl Aldi it's the time of year they'll start selling the little electric back and neck things - might be worth a try? But of course the best remedy may be to relax a bit and take it easy - impossible for you I suspect as you're such a whirlwind normally.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. lovely to see you back FLORENCEEM ~ sorry to hear your back is cuasing you pain. Canr beleive how much you have made on vinted, thats terrific. You are are so focused on your charity work. You are an inspriration xIm in bed resting up, But DH has sold an old projector thing on the bay, it got collected this morning. I will have to remind him that the profit from any sales is going as over-payments on the mortage, otherwise, he will forget! He also bought some big dvd soft cover case and last night empited out a drawer of childrens dvds and popped the discs and the insert in the new case and the old dvd cases are now in the drawer and both are ready to go to the tip. I think that drawer has been sat in our bedroom for over 2 years wating to be sorted out !!!!! SO thats greatI managed to do a tesco order yesterday and it came today, absolutley exhausted by the time I had put it all away!!!! I cant beleive I am this weak! I thought this morning that I might try and work tomorrow as I only have one patient, but after doing the shopping I cant even think I will be ready!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

I rarely use the bay now but I did sell a vintage cookery book on there last week - it was a 1977 dairy one.
I listed a pair of shoes this morning on V - they are still on the website - £89 - I have listed at £36 but will look at offers.
It is surprising what we are given at SA in donation bags. I did find my first £5 note the other week.
Seems like people in this area are having a sort out - Mr F says that a couple of charity shops in town are overwhelmed and not accepting donations today.
I had my first day indoors for a week yesterday.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Sorry to hear that your back has been bad floreneem.
I've managed to sell a couple of dvds, I didn't get much for them, although I'm glad they're gone.
I've taken 4 bags of various bits to the charity shop.
Mainly old towels, some t-shirts and a stack of books.
I'm going to see if I can find anything else to declutter and try to have a sort out of the living room.
I've decluttered quite a bit of wrapping paper, labels and and a few odds and sods through church. There's couple of bits lurking while I try to pass them on.Decluttering campaign 2023
