@vulpix so glad the headboard works! I can't believe you have anything left in your house which always looks gorgeous, and yet you find more to pass on or work your magic on.
@Liverpool_Anne, seeing friends and being outside definitely good for the soul and replenishes and stops the fixation of thing.
Popped out while daylight (late lunch) and dropped off another CS bag, had added, a mattress protector, picnic blanket eyemask and cardigan and binned out of date sachets of milk and make up. Dropped of lever arch file and pack of dividers and plastic wallets to bank of things. I did pick up a jacket in another CS thinking could fit me (if I was a size smaller) Or DD2 so will send her a photo.

Also sold jeans still with tags and packaged and posted 1589 and spotted some other clothes I may pass on.

Had a walk along the beach with the dogs and a cuppa at the cafe. Then we went to Newport and had a quick look in the BHF furniture shop there. Some lovely chairs there but I can’t get a new one until the builders finished in the sitting room /loo/shower room. All the new points are going in tomorrow and skirting boards and painting as well as two new doors. The builder is so good and the other chap got stuck into the kitchen and we now have a new two metre worktop and the dishwasher is now plumbed in at last, so a rest from the washing up 👍🤣 and the tumble dryer gets fitted under the worktop tomorrow along with extra plug sockets.DGS Jack is arriving tomorrow so he will be pleased to see how it’s all changed in two months.
I dropped a bag of clothes of DDs clothes off at the Sally Army place today as she too is sorting out surplus clothes
once the kitchens finished hopefully tomorrow we are going through the cupboards to see what we have doubled up on in the move.
very misty drizzle on and off today so we were all a bit damp when we got back from town so hot soup and soft rolls sorted us all out.
I’m looking forward to seeing Jack tomorrow, as he will be driving and he’s going to take DD and myself out for a drive for the first time . He’s been looking forward to doing this ever since he passed his test in June
👍🤣

Sorry that I have been awol - I have been so busy at SA.
Apologies for not answering messages - I kept meaning to but then got on with SA work.
We have no table top sales in July and August so I started to do Vinted after Dgd showed me what to do.
My house is now a mess - I have bags of stuff that is listed on Vinted and bags of stuff that needs to be sorted for listing.
I somehow hurt my back at the beginning of September - usual painkillers did nothing to ease the pain. I couldn't get comfy sitting or standing and was unable to do much at all.
I made £800 for the SA on Vinted in July and August - I gave it to C and it was added to our September sale total.
My Dgs did all the lifting for me at the September table top sale.

@Florenceem so good to have you back.
Amazing success for you/SA on Vintey. I hope your back trouble soon improves.14 -
Florenceem welcome back, we were all getting worried about you. Glad to know that you have done so well for the SA.
Sorry about your back, again nerve pain is awful, and back pain is so debilitating. Rest as much as you can and hopefully you will recover asap.
My eldest does a lot of Vinted stuff, and her pot is the NYC pot, for when her and her OH visit NY to see their granddaughter. DGS Danny has lied in the USA for almost 8 years and when Daisy was born last year my DD was so chuffed at becoming a grandma. She talks to the little one every night via facetime before she drops off to sleep and Danny is brilliant at sending photos etc and videos but DD obviously misses such a lot with the little one being so far away.
I dropped a bag od Drs clothes that she had sorted out today to the local SA shop in Ryde, every little helps
Do take care and try to rest as much as you can

Florenceem so pleased to see you I’ve been worried abut you ( as have many )
I went into our SA charity shop with a few things during the summer and they were so friendly ,.I take everything there now ,was talking to the manager and she said everything they raise in the shop is spent locally .
is this the same in all their shops
how is Mr F ?14 -
Thanks for the welcome back.
I did an Econsult as my back was so bad and was told I was being referred to advanced physio. I heard nothing so eventually got a Dr's appointment - there was nothing on my records about physio. So I was then referred for physio - again I heard nothing - the Dr had given me strong painkillers but I was still in pain.
I phoned the surgery to see what was happening and surprise - I got to see the physio next day. As I had been in pain for 6 weeks - he sent me for xrays - I have heard nothing but he said - no news is good news. My back is getting better slowly but I have to take it easy - which I don't like.
I get items ready for photos to list on Vinted and Mr F lifts them up to the door frame for me to take the pics. Then I list stuff and when sold - wrap and Mr F goes to post them at the Off Licence.
I made £700 in September and 2 weeks in October so that amount went with the October table top sale money. Our last table top sale of the year is November.
I haven't done any crafting as been so busy with Vinted and in pain.
I have fabric to make curtains for youngest Dd but haven't managed to work on them as the laying out of a large amount of fabric has been too much. I also have rolls of fabric standing in the hall way for the eldest Dd's curtains.
I have been Blessed that I made all the year's Birthday cards before I started Vinted and my back problem.

Suffolksue - Mr F is walking better in his new sturdier shoes - more of a trainer style. He is still under the care of the respiratory unit - due to have an xray and telephone consultation next week. Mr F does a lot of walking - back and forth to the Off Licence which is so funny for a soldier.
SA is closed this week as it is half term - there is still breakfast for the rough sleepers - 6.30 - 9. I am going into SA on Wednesday at 8.30 am to support my friend as she would be lone working.
We don't have a SA charity shop in our town. We get sacks of donations and I sort them - we get money for clothes/textiles which are taken to be recycled. So our corps gets that money.
Anything that is suitable for rough sleepers goes into cupboards in the community room.
Bits that can be sold at table top sales are stored.
We also store suitable bits for people going into accommodation - plates/cutlery/fry pans etc.
The good brands or new with tags items are what I sell on Vinted - we are very Blessed with what people give us.
We do get stuff that has to go straight in the bin - broken clocks, chipped crockery, broken toys etc. I had bags of stuff that was only fit for the tip last week but it all has to be sorted - just in case.

Hi all just a quick post as I have to take the car to the garage for it's MOT at 8.30 tomorrow so got to be up and at am early
I had a bit of a lazy day today, sat in the sun until the rain arrived
, bedroom recycling, bathroom recycling and kitchen recycling were emptied and a large cardboard box broken down and recycled. OH has had 4 parcels delivered in the past 3 days
. Also 1 LDFPA from the maiden. I have also spent a silly amount of time trying to sort out a footy ticket for a friend's daughter
.
@nannywindow hugs, take care of yourself
@Moorviews YES the condiment shopI get it now
.
@Florenceem lovely to hear from you. An amazing amount of money raised for SA, well done
. Glad Mr F is walking better but sorry to hear about your back. I know it goes against the grain for you but rest really is what you need until the physio sorts something out for you and even then it will probably take a while, hugs
Right off to bed now. Hugs to everyone who would like one
