Hi all, awake at silly o'clock again
. I have read all the posts but my brain is not working very well but ....
@Siebrie lovely to see you and hear the great things about your girls and I hope your Mum can get things sorted soon.
@Mrs SD love the knitting, beautiful work
@Vulpix love the pumpkin hat
So Thursday I got busy in the garden after spending the morning as a chauffeur. The ladders were back out and I got up the cordyline and pulled out loads of dead leaves and cut back some of the ivy which has colonised the trunk. It looks much better now
. While up the ladder I got a completely different view of the garden and spotted a bramble heading along the fence behind ln's greenhouse so that got chopped off and a few other things got a chop. I started filling the bags to take to the tip but it was well dark before I headed in
I did also manage 1 LDFPA and the kitchen bin was emptied.
Friday I was quite knackered but I loaded up the car and took 11 bags of garden waste to the tip. I couldn't see out of the back window at all they were jammed in everywhere. While at the tip a man in a van came to help me with one of the big tonne bags and just pushed the whole bag into the skip. Luckily I was hanging on to the handle. I gave him a hard teacher stare as I heaved it back out. Oh you want the bag he said. Yes you are not allowed to put the bags in I said, see that big sign!!. No wonder some people get told off by the guys who work there
. I also sorted the post and the bedroom bin was emptied. After I got home I had coffee over the fence with ln and just did some crochet after tea
. Next week ln is going to stay with her sil as she has decorators in for the week so I am in charge of putting the bins out and making sure the decorators put the alarm on every night when they go home so I have to have a lesson in how to do that today or tomorrow in case they forget
.
Right going to make a cuppa and put the washing machine on, sun forecast and it should be light by the time it's finished.
Can't believe the clocks go back this weekend, where has this year gone?
Hugs to everyone who would like one

Morning All, hugs to those who need them.
I passed a Project Management exam yesterday, 😊. Notes will be decluttered to the bin and printouts decluttered to a college or my work locker. Only working 2 days next week due to it being half term, looking forward to a break and catching up with stuff in the house. I have yet to upload anything to Vinted.
Off to make a list to see how much can accomplish today.
Have a good day all.

Good morning chums, up and about early as the plasterer is returning this morning to do the other two walls.
The shower room/loo is all done, and the ceiling and two walls in the sitting room are done ,just the other two to do and a short corridor.
Then its a case of it drying out.
On Monday they start rejigging the kitchen, so Sunday night we have to get as much stuff out of the way as possible three cupboards have to be emptied as they are being moved across to the other side of the kitchen, and a new work top being put in, then the DW,TD and WM can be slotted in to a permanent spot, and an extra five double electric points put in.You can never have enough points in a kitchen
So for the next week the house will be upside down and in a mess but hopefully it will start to come together.
While the kitchen is being sorted hopefully the plaster will be drying out, and then the new window can be fitted then it really will start to take shape.
I've sorted out a bag of clothes to go to the CS today from the spare room.:)
Stuff that really won't be needed, and I've decided I'm cutting back ruthlessly of stuff.
If I've not used it in the three plus months I've lived here because it was packed away, then I obviously really don't need it so its going
Minimalism is my mantra from now on:) I really don't need 16 pairs of shoes I only have one pair of feetso a lot of this are being culled
Onwards and upwards I think

I've just read an article in The Times magazine today about decluttering and one thing in particular struck me. It was talking something about X (ex Twitter) and moved onto this.16

Fizz , well done,
@Liverpool_Anne i was imagining your hard teacher stare and hope he felt rebuked and won't do it again. Sounds like you cleared so much.
@Gers so true and hope that many people do take note .
Another wake up moment for me, decided I can't cope with all papers and boxes on the floor. Picked up a box , with a couple of important papers and few random things and noticed they were wet/ stained. Tried to work out if I could Habrough spilt a drink and then realised either big or little cat are the culprit. Not sure how long ago
So 6 items out immediately, more paper declutter x 5, metal tissue box and another item in cs bag, emptied box with few things to put electrical cables etc, so small bundle of rubbish out x 1, dd2 earrings put in her room, item in textile recycling bag, ood food
Will add my 16 later to nos.
Lobby notified me I could borrow ' goodbye things ' by japanese minimalist which I started reading in bed this morning. Quite extreme but made time thing how many things that do the same thing do I need - jugs and vases came to mind.
Have to wait in this pm for broadband people so will tackle kitchen surfaces ( also have papers on them) and hopefully more!
Hope those in need use the tlc carriage and others pop in for tea and cake , or g&t as required!15 -
Mrs SD it cost £15 and IMO worth every penny.
Didn't do 6yo frog yesterday - did a couple of 2 month frogs instead. More paper off the reading pile gone. Nearly up to date with it and ready to start on 3 library books I've been renewing for months.
Successful tip trip for OH and some more garden tidying. The neighbours will all be round shortly to check we're ok!Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅16 -
Feeling a bit brighter today. Two car loads to tip. I called in at DS2's after my first load and suggested he fill my boot with all the cardboard from the wardrobes he had just made up from the Swedish shop as my car had seats down already - dropped that off on my way home. Just had teacakes and ready to go again. A little bird (ie neighbour) has told me house I am moving into is being emptied this week. Solicitor has told me nothing since Friday before last.
1351 Bootload of cardboard packaging recycled
1352 Pasting table to recycling
1353 Desk to recycling
1354-57 Four garden chairs for recycling and tip
1358 Skateboard to tip
1359 Windbreak to tip
1360 Packing totals 65 boxes and 8 bags
Tried to find a cheap wheelbarrow but they seem to be £75 plus. Might see if I can get the one I have working with some oil.
