Tomorrow will be a great day. Got 3 wall unit things being collected by BHF, along with 2 chairs and, hopefully they will also take two big bags of wicker baskets and a ton of Kilner type jars. So want it all gone, getting very excited……how sad am I 🤣 Hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to a nice weekend.Today DH and I have waded through an absolute ton of laundry as none got done while we were both unwell. Managed to get the bulk done, dried and put away. Two loads of drying left and one load of washing so will all be done by dinner time. There is quite a lot of ironing but I can do it in small chunks. Actually looking forward to tomorrow, have a great day everyone xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Thursday is another bright sunny day with a high of 17°C. I struggled to fall asleep & when I did actually fall asleep ‘apparently’ I woke DH up asking him nonsensical questions 😰 DH finally gave me an acceptable answer & I stopped asking questions 😉 I am rather grateful that ‘sleep talking’ is safer than sleepwalking 😅 Of course this meant that I didn’t stir my stumps until 12:30 😔 DH made my first cuppa & I menu planned & wrote a shopping list. Whilst DH & DSis were out I stripped the bed, turned & spot cleaned the mattress. It has been left to air. Shopping unpacked & put away. Two loads of washing done & first load is in the td. Everyone is fending for themselves tonight. DH finished last night’s Chinese, DSis had a Cornish pasty & I had a tin of tomato soup. Wudupa
I have 2 more loads of washing to do tomorrow. Bed now has clean linen.

Friday is an overcast damp day but with a forecast high of 18°C. Late getting up again - now the bed has winter linen on it is just so toasty 😉 First load is in wm & I have done a bit of tidying 😉

So lovely to see you Siebrie 👋 Such wonderful news about your daughters 😊 You have been so busy - with church, helping out your Mum & keeping your sister at bay 👏 I empathise with both you & your Mum - it must be so frustrating when the supposed ‘professionals’ are so incompetent 😠😔 Although I am pleased to see that your Mum has a kind new neighbour 😊 Fingers crossed that the lawyer will get the situation to a proper & effective conclusion 🤞I for one am looking forward to seeing you a bit more 😊
vulpix, now there is an image to conjure with 😉 Your mention of Olga Korbut sent me down memory lane - can you believe it is over 50 years since she delighted us with her skills 🤩 Hope you have a lovely time in Amsterdam 😊
Pennypincin, good luck with the ‘difficult bits’ of decluttering 🍀 I too have a couple of LoTR ornaments - Gollum & Minas Tirith 😉 which I should make a decision about 🤔
Excellent work D123456789 👏 especially dropping off the charity bags & being wise enough to take LO with you 😉
Great work oceanspirit especially the speed reading 👏
vulpix, not silly at all - my DSisiL took a long while to come to a point where she would grudgingly use a mobility scooter (she has very dodgy knees) 😉 Good luck with the knitting especially the pumpkin hat 😊🍀
fifi35, what a busy Tuesday 🤩 How lovely that you timed your visit so well & got to feed your granddaughter 🥹
2Scratters, good luck with the bedroom decluttering 🍀 Hopefully you will find a few more purses with an old tenner in them 😉 or preferably a £20 note 🤞Good luck with the listings 🍀
~FlowerPot~ sorry to hear that you are suffering 😔 but pleased to hear that you are home 😊 I have seen the adverts for Whoosh - seemed like a useful idea & you had such a good experience 👏 Now that you & your dog are in the TLC Carriage, you can get on with your planning 😊 leaving DH & DS1 to fend for themselves 😉 Meanwhile I will join with regnbue & nannywindow in sending gentle cwtches 🤗
Oh weenancy - so sorry & rather angry to hear that your roommates are so, so selfish & inconsiderate 😔 😡 I will join with ~Flowerpot~ Wednesday2000 & Brie in offering lots of gentles cwtches 🤗 & plenty of ‘friendly fusses’ - just wish we were closer 😔
A perfect place to stop for a while as the washing has finished & I need a 2nd cuppa 😉 I hope that everyone is having as good a day as possible & that all our ‘poorlies’ are on the mend ❤️🩹 Gentle cwtches for all 🤗

Hoping those poorly are recovering as quickly as possible.
Just been to see a house and loved it, but abit impractical as on 4 floors and close to the river and a big tree in the garden. However, agent quite right my house needs to be on the market, I mumbled about needing to tidy and he said someone could come end of next week to give me time ! I can hear my friend roaring with laughter, maybe 2026!
Have put some fabric, 2 party type bags and a halloween cape in the CS bag, The thought of anyone in my house is scary... a month til my friend comes to stay, but she is one person who wouldn't bat an eyelid at it.
Some frogs and the major one with ex is unravelling so causing more frogs!
Take care all and hope to report more progress although I think tidying and cleaning are needed but hopefully some decluttering on the way, will count the letter and envelope that went off today as part of frog,12 -

Unfortunately it has been raining most of the afternoon, so resorted to using the td 😔 DH has been out for almost 3 hours on his walk - he missed yesterday as his knee was aching 😔 He only got slightly damp as it was just a light drizzle. All the washing is dry & folded ready to put away. Just the motorcycle outer wear to wash, water proof & dry. Dinner was fish in breadcrumbs, oven chips & peas. Wudupa.

daisy_1571 🥹🤗😊 you always see the best in people 😇
Excellent decluttering florianatwobob 👏 Shame about needing to find somewhere to take the ‘rags’ 😔 Your poor DSis - hopefully once her treatment is completed she will have good news & can start the recovery process 🙏 Sorry to hear about having to replace the boiler - an expense you can do without 😔 Although on the ‘bright’ side better now than in deep winter 😮💨
London_1, what a lovely Wednesday 😊 DGS Ben is such a lovely young man & the garden must be coming along nicely 🤞More excellent decluttering 👏 at this rate you will have nothing left to put in your new sitting room 😉 No doubt you are looking forward to seeing DGS Henry even if it is only a flying visit 😊 It will also be lovely to have your own chauffeur when DGS Jack arrives 😊 Hope the weather is mild & sunny for their visits & for DD’s week off 🙏 So pleased to hear that DGD Katie & family arrived safely & are enjoying their holiday ☺️
Pennypincin, pleased to hear that the decorating is going well 😊 even if not as quickly as you would like 😔 Excellent decluttering despite the disruptions 👏 Good luck with the studying 🍀
ruby_eskimo, I missed out on the sticky toffee pudding 😔 that will teach me to fall behind with the cheerleading 😉 Sorry to hear that the bathroom renovation has hit a snag 😔 Hopefully the issue can be resolved expeditiously 🙏 It does sound like you won’t be recommending your builders to anyone 😔
2Scratters, do like your idea for weenancy & Flowerpot to extend their recovery period 😃 Hopefully it will work 🙏 Excellent (if unexpected) decluttering 👏 & how great that you can earn a little money as well 😊 Good luck selling DH’s bike books 🍀 Thanks for the compliment re my knitting ☺️
vulpix, if you really do miss the days when you had lots to declutter, I am sure several of our Declutterati family would be happy to hire you 😅 The pumpkin hat is wonderful 🤩 & I am even more impressed that you made up the pattern 🥳 Hope you enjoyed Thursday’s yoga 😊 Marmalade & ginger cake sounds like it should be a winner 🤔 shame it didn’t work but I am sure the birdies were grateful 😉
oceanspirit, Great work by both you & OH 👏 Hope the gutter cleaning wasn’t too expensive 🤞
Excellent decluttering & packing GrannyKate 👏 Fingers crossed that you get a moving date soon 🤞 Sorry to hear about your fall 😔 Please, please see the doctor asap 🙏 Meanwhile please take it easy & spend lots of time in the TLC Carriage 🙏
Excellent decluttering Rootle 👏
I have started nodding off so I will head to bed & have another attempt at catching up tomorrow 🤞 Sleep tight 😴
