@regnbue I read that too quickly as simply puzzles and not puzzle books. I was confused for a minute on how you did those on the train!

I took a day trip to London yesterday as the train company were running a cheap ticket promotion.
Was very brave and wore a t-shirt as v.warm temps predicted. Was glad I did so as so many were carrying their fleecy jackets around.
Decided to revisit Tower of London as on my first visit with my mum 38 years ago we missed out on seeing the Crown Jewels as the queue was enormous.
Glad I went as no queue this time and the jewels were worth it (so sparkly!).
Not allowed to take pics so instead here is a photo of the Man in the Clock at Paddington Station.
This poor bloke spends 24 hours a day painting the hands onto the clock face and then removing them.

@Liverpool_Anne I am not really sure why I hid the utensils from DH, as he was talking the other about some spices he has in the cupboard that he’s looking forward to using…… I decluttered them 2 years ago as they were several years out of date. The fact he intends to use them yet hasn’t actually opened the cupboard to see they are no longer there speaks volumes.
Can anyone else relate to this? 🤦♀️17 -
Trying to keep some momentum, candle in cs bag before heading to work, kitchen item, towel and sheet in CS bag, and some paper declutter 1524.
Had message from energy company dropping court staff against DD1 saying hope this eases my mind! why they couldn't do this 6 weeks and 2 days ago and dozens of hours, contacting them, citizens advice, ofgem, debt advice etc, and sending many emails, requests for hard copy, never receiving calls they promised, and information they promised. Stopping myself sending a very sarcastic or snidy reply. Refused to provide details of vulnerable customer team, closed my complaint without dealing with it, and refused reasonable adjustments to provide hard copy.
Sorry for the rant but if they'd spoken to me instead of saying, fill in the court forms we're not talking to you til court!!

Thanks Floss, no but I am giving thought how best to approach this. Just had the dsar team come back and say request was made 8th Oct when it was made 6th September- total incompetence. The initial information I wanted was letters they said they'd sent and dd didn't get and they said only way was through data subject access request. Its a battle I will help her with but not today!
And waiting to see if they do make an offer as is referenced in my many emails!12 -
Hi.The table renovation was very quick and easy.I broke one of Mr V’s ugly football mugs.Bracelet sold. £160 kerching.I have bought a little Christmas gift for our bin monitor. We do secret Santa as a family so just that to get and hi viz jacket for dgs. I will buy the smallest I can buy and make it smaller to fit him to go with the sit and ride digger and toy hard hat we have got him. I like to have Christmas bought before December so as to enjoy the festivities with no rushing around.Speaking of dgs, he went on a school trip yesterday. 🥰 He is 13 months. They went to a horse sanctuary. ❤️
Lots of washing done today as it’s fine. I really ought to get out and pick some leaves up but I have started knitting and it’s calling me.Take care all Vx:13 -
@vulpix I love the tableA few more bits decluttered. DS's room is still messy and he just faffs around when he needs to tidy it up. I found a good tip online, which was that you divide the room into zones and get them to fully tidy one of the zones each night before bed. Obviously that means me because DH never does it properly and DS does need help on what to do, but it could work. We are currently taking a tiny bit each day, sorting through and tidying the whole area plus cleaning it. We are 5 days in and now there is mess and incredibly tidy bits and nothing inbetween. Going to take quite a few more days, but hoping to make progress.Due to proritising this, I haven't done that much of my stuff, but working through it slowly. I did send DH and my parents my xmas list though (we don't guess in our household and just ask for what we want). Means I should get exactly what I want need and nothing more
From DH I've asked for some of those picture frames you can open up from the front to display the kids artwork in. I've had a big blank wall in the kitchen/diner for 10 years and failed to find any pictures I like, but I would love to display some of the kids stuff.

Hi everyone.
I'm struggling to keep up with the posts at the moment.
Not been a 100% with one cold after another and coming over sick, dizzy and weak Inbetween.
There seems to be a lot of it going around at the moment too.
I've managed to re-home my guitar plus accessories and a lunch bag.
