This morning I had a rush of blood to my decluttering head and cleared out a whole deep drawer of long unused T-shirts which will be heading to the CS soon. I realised that I just liked having them even though they hadn't been worn for about three years.I may regret it come summer next year (ha!) although getting rid still feels good.16

Morning all - hugs to all who need them. Skim reading at the moment. Looks like I will need to make a decision on move this week. No action from the other side on my purchase - they seem to just be stalling. My purchaser is completing Monday and moving out so she will be in temp accommodation. I think I will have to do the same and reconsider the purchase. An identical house on the same road has gone back on sale yesterday after being sold STC for several months - I may go in and ask EA what the issues are with it. I know it needs work but less money.

Many thanks for my medal Mrs SD. There are causes I like to support every year and this year has just been amazing, really pleased with my totals and everything donated.
General totals, coming into a busy time for birthdays and now having to send more,
362)-364) three lots of birthday presents sorted, wrapped, parcelled up and sent.
364)-366) three lots of boxes and packaging used up for the presents
367) broken coat hanger into recycling
@Liverpool_Anne the kitchen was abit of a surprise, I loved choosing the colours and just waiting for the design to come through, will finally get more storage space so not so many things on the kitchen counter. The upheaval while its being done is another matter, now that I hate!Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Enjoyed my family history fact finding trip. Now back to the master jobs list and have given OH a list to get started on and picked out some priorities for me.
The reading pile has grown whilst I have been doing other things but I managed to do a bit yesterday and those items now in the recycling bin.
OH took some larger items to the tip plus a bag to the CS. He is working on tidying his room in between other things.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅14 -
I decided to make a start on decluttering my wardrobe yesterday as a YT video gave me inspiration. I want to wear more colour so I moved all my black clothes into the furthest wardrobe so now my main wardrobe looks much more colourful. I have three bags of clothes to donate!
I went to the chiropodist today, went to a charity shop and then to a pharmacy to get my flu jab. The window cleaner was meant to be here by now so he must be running late. I have almost got 10,000 steps already.

Hi all, well I have filled the days but not much decluttering
2 LDFPA, sorted out the freezer, batch cooked veg stew and 8 portions in the freezer, kitchen bin, sorted a union thing, had a meds review with the practice nurse, all good but I have to have another blood test as I have a slightly raised white cell count, probably due to having the covid jab a few days before
and while I was there she gave me my flu jab so cancelled the appointment I had for that
. Just a small hot area on my arm today but otherwise ok
. I also had a long telephone conversation with the bank manager. I had asked for an appointment with someone to sort out an account to get a better interest rate and basically they want me to use the app. I will then be able to sort this myself apparently. I pointed out that the reason I asked to see someone was because I was not always aware of the products they offer so now the extra pennies I might earn are more important than when I was working I needed their help to do that. However it appears that they are shortly going to force people to use the app and only provide this sort of help to vulnerable people. I am not really happy about this but I have agreed to go in to learn how to use the app and we shall see where that takes us, possibly a different bank if I am not happy. If I am going to have to do the research about what is the best place to put my money I might find another bank is better
. I am also not happy that I have to go into town for this rather than using my local branch. Thin end of the wedge and all that
. It was monsoon weather yesterday with local flooding in places and the river Alt is still running high and my garden is very soggy
but the sun is out today and I have 2 loads on the line and the bird feeder has been sorted out as the pigeons are gannets in disguise so it has been rearranged so other birds can get a look in
. I have the windscreen repair person coming this afternoon and I have been getting text messages to pay for this for the past 3 days so I will sort that this morning
. Remember when you paid for a job after it was done? Sorry I have been a bit of a grump this morning
@Vulpix well done to the nephew, no mean feat to achieve that purchase especially at such a young age. He is going to be very busy running that as well as working his job. Did you get the white mark off the table? I also have a collection of single ratings. I now generally only wear small silver hoops except for special occasions to try to hang on to the pairs I have left
@Pennypincin good luck with the decorating
@Floss good luck with the roof
@Mrs SD that's a long wait for window cleaners. How annoying for dsis, hope she finds the new surgery more helpful.
@nannywindow great news about your DH, everything crossed it continues, hugs
@D123456789 I had a chuckle about you hiding things, I do something similar but I don't wait 6 months
@Moorviews sentimental things can be very hard to deal with, hugs
@QueenJess and @weenancyinAmerica love the idea for the duck. I have done similar things in the past
@Gers I have loads of t shirts as well but I do wear them all the time
@GrannyKate would it be worth having a conversation with the sellers to find out what they are doing, maybe tell them you are thinking of pulling out due to them dragging their feet. Good luck sorting this out, hugs. I am surprised there are so many empty bungalows near you as they are in great demand in my neck of the woods.
Ok, OH has just come in for a break and is demanding attentionso I will go and make a cuppa and see what is what
Hugs to everyone who would like one
