Hello!
All current clutter is out my house!Dropped off 13 cook books yesterday at supermarket…I did have a cull pre packing but none of these sparked that much joy so off they went! Still got plenty left ( still have some to unpack)
Took a box of stuff over to DD2 yesterday.
Took a BIG box of stuff to charity shop this morning, some of it was things from my mums/ my granny’s but I just do not need and hopefully someone else will want.And put a few things up on Vinted but if they don’t sell they are going to charity shop
Feels much better out than in!17 -
Hi,
I have written the contents of the loft in my notebook I Should be able to remember but,you know!
Sorted 3 boxes of dolls house stuff yesterday. All DD1's doll house stuff given away on thrift. That is a bag for life full of stuff never returning. I have packed all the doll house things that came with the doll house in a big shoe box. Lots of things now on the spare bed waiting for DIL to look at. What she doesn't want I will deal with afterwards.
A black bag of textiles for DD1 just her stuff that was stored in the loft. DS has a bag containing a train set and a pond yacht. I have added our excess coat hangers to DD1's bag.
Potted up the bulbs that will flower at Christmas, now in my shed. I gave the dolls house a shower.
Went to see Mum. Still trying to sort the building society debacle. 2 connected letters written and posted.
Washed the table top down, it was filthy. Mr V has taken the frame off. Don't know what it is actually called, the bit the legs attach to. More work needed but I am waiting to do it in daylight.
I have written a frog list, in three parts. Things to do,Things to buy and jobs.
It's nice to see the thread bustling.

cs bag dropped off today whilst in town. did have a browse in both charity shops whilst on that end of the high street but nothing caught my eye - even though the shops were deserted given the torrential rain. nice to be able to browse and not bump into anyone.
we are waiting for a break in the weather and for the gardener to come round next month as the back garden flowerbeds and other bits need seeing to. I may need to give DMum a hand sorting out the flowerbed in particular as she wants to make it so its less work, especially now she is getting a little more wobbly on her pins. i already went out there a week or so ago and took all the small items out of the garden and stored them in the garage as she had not been able to get to it - 30 minutes of sorting for her, 10 minutes running back and forth for me.
gardener is due round mid Nov so maybe on the next mini break from work (week after next) we might be blessed with some dry weather so we can sort out anything that needs pulling out prior to him arriving. we have to book our handyman in the new year to fix a paving slab that has a crack in it, and then the same handyman has offered to powerwash the back patio for us as well.

Love that family items enjoyed and displayed!
My gold star is so close
Guitar and case collected (3/4) so going to a school.
I recycled my draught.excluders last year as didn't like the pattern and not quite the right shape but regretting it now. Looming out socks odd and ill fitting to start again!12 -
@GrannyKate - maybe you can find a gardener who uses broken terra cotta planters inside their big pots to save on compost? Have you tried advertising them?14

Hi all, awake at silly o'clock as I had left OH on the couch when I came to bed and the heating must have been put on as OH is always cold. OH then must have gone to bed and left it on. I awoke roasting and even with the window open after trotting downstairs to turn it off I am still too warm to drop back off yet. Nice day yesterday but slow decluttering again. The car has been booked in for the MOT which I expect will cost some dosh. I am not aware of any problems but it is over 14 years old and they usually find something minor but it is what it is
. The bedroom recycling was emptied and some banking stuff sorted. 2 loads of washing through the machine but it wasn't dry when we were heading out so it has been left on the line as we have another dry day forecast
. I chopped and put into the freezer the veg from the 2g2g bag as I want to do a batch cook but hadn't found the time on Sunday or yesterday, hopefully I can do it today. We met up with a friend for an early tea and had a catch up, mother of the groom, so lots of talk about how nice the day was
. When we got home I did some crochet. I have been asked to make a baby blanket for ln's grandson as his wife is expecting a girl in February and I made a blue one for them when they had their son two years ago so a pink one has been requested
so I thought I had better crack on with my current project that has been left languishing for a good few months. I still have to do a white one for the recently married couple. I have the yarn for that but I don't normally start a new project until the current one is finished. I might have to make an exception now as the time is flying and theirs is due on Christmas day
.
@regnbue I find dealing with unknown tradespeople very frustrating. I have waited weeks for some quotes and in the end either given up or got someone else through a friend. Hugs. Well done on tackling the rod
@2Scratters congratulations on your retirement 💐. Well done on the sales and loving the days thing
@London_1 hugs
@mhagster woo hoo
@Vulpix, what a busy day. Sorry you are still having problems with your Mum's bank. Dare I ask if db might help? It must be very frustrating.
@Brie I really like the idea of the planes being displayed in a dog fight
@TC77 good luck with the draft excluders
@weenancyinAmerica excellent idea for @GrannyKate. I always have a stash of broken pots for just that reason. There has been times when I have had to resort to other things because I haven't had enoughMaybe GrannyKate could pass them to a gardening neighbour.
Well I am going to make a cuppa and see if I can catch a few more hours sleep. It's not light yet so there is hope
.
Hugs to everyone who would like one
