A tip trip for me today to get rid of garden rubbish and general rubbish and 2x sides if units that were delivered broken and then replaced by the company. So that is another of my large items out never to return.
I have been taking a glance over the rooms in my house and there just seems to be so much... I think I am going to spend the rest of January trying to break the back of my decluttering 366 bags challenge as it currently feels like I am swimming against the tide and getting not very far. The term I read about was 'stuffocation' which seems to sum up how I feel perfectly.
RL is still presenting challenges and one of the tasks of the year is to see if I can get an assessment for my eldest dd (8). She has had anxiety since tiny and it has been steadily getting worse (therapy helped for a bit) I mentioned to her teacher yesterday about the 'symptoms' and that I think there is more to it than just anxiety and she advised me to speak to Dr and senco.
Senco is amazing and is going to support our quest for further exploration as the 'symptoms' I described suggest neurodivergent challenges. Watch this space.

Dfw I would definitely say go with your gut, especially if there are other signs like trouble keeping friends, bright but struggles to apply herself, can be alternatively very rtalkatove and also quite shy and reclusive. Junior Flamingo was flagged up in y1 and then diagnosed in year 3/4. I only realised my own symptoms whilst going through the process for him

Mrs SD - I'm not so sure on that some of it's taken over 12 months to sell but at least it's gone now! Sounds like you've had a very busy day!
I come this evening with a hard earnt Public Safety Announcement...
If you are sorting nail varnishes and come across a mysterious black bottle labelled "starry night" don't just open it willy nilly expecting nothing bad to come of it, especially not sat on your bed! It could well be a little pot of very fine micro glitter just ready to spill out everywhere >.< urgh >.<
I wasn't expecting to do any more today but I'm on a gel nail varnish detox so in search of a nail hardener, which lead into sorting a pile of boxes.
1 box of letters in the fire pile.
1 bunch of picture mounts in the bin
5 nail varnishes binned
Total - 46/2024 and now I'm off to paint my nails so that really is me done for today! xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....21 -
Husband has managed to lose dd2's bicycle keys between the bicycle and the garage... he did say he went back into the garage to get something from the freezer, so I emptied the freezer and defrosted it while it was empty, but no keys. Luckily, we have a spare set, but husband will have to look underneath the freezer tomorrow.
I removed spare ribs from the freezer and we had them for dinner, but they were not very nice, and I won't be buying them again (Aldi).
I went to the funeral of a friend (we had drifted apart), and they showed pictures of her life at the start of the service, and some people told stories of their time with her. She knew how to enjoy life, and I decided that I need to step up my game! I know that she worked from a very different budget, but there are still so many things I can do to make more of life than just let it pass. First step: not accepting dds skipping chores, requests for help or sloppy organisation. DD1 responded well, DD2 is not happy. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5923 -

A item I was given away was collected lunchtime, it's taken them about a week to collect so I expected them to have changed their mind, happy to see it rehomed.Whilst I was on the way to the osteopath I rehomed a bag of clothes for recycling into the bin in the Sainsbury's car park, it's been full every other time I've checked 🙂 more money declutterred to the osteopath and he's left me aching tonight so I've left the sorting I'd planned, it will keepLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin20
