Hi, just nipping in. We have had internet outages for the past couple of days. It’s been,Hurrah , it’s back, oh, spoke too soon. Since we had our update, service has never been so bad.I am so pleased with your health check Mrs SD, but even more pleased that you are feeling more relaxed about it all. ❤️ Very impressed with your garage… and a diddy photo. Any I put on turn out huge.
We had a viewing today. She was here 40 minutes which I am taking as a good sign.Take care all Vx:14 -
Hi someone on here (Ionafan ) messaged me to say the couple seem to be on Facebook, and the couple celebrated their golden wedding in Sept 2021 so I'm hoping to reunite the photo to the couple
I sent the lady on Facebook a message, also to one of her friends in case she doesn't check her FB page often. I do hope she sees it and replies as it will be nice to reunite the couple with their photo.
There is a Newport on the IoW (the capital ) but the address on the photo is definitely Cwmbran Mon.
so fingers crossed and thanks so much to Ionafan if its the right couple

1 sock in recyling, top in cs bag, and used up old toiletries, (meant for a gift but kept too long so thought I should use). Thinking I could start to be on a roll, then opened a couple of doors to rooms of doom, and know a marathon and not a sprint, 1320.15

2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
DH & I spent over 2 hours working in his office & having picked such a warm day to work indoors we both worked up a sweat 😂 Whilst DH was cleaning the window & window sill, I used a very stiff bristled broom to sweep the visible carpet before vacuuming. We then sorted out one corner completely - dusted & washed the desk then having unplugged every wire/lead I wiped them down + then dusted & dry wiped 2 computers, 2 screens, 2 speakers, 2 shelving units & the printer. Each item was individually plugged in & returned to its correct position. Any small repairs like adding protective ‘feet’ pads to the desk tidies & shelving units were dealt with immediately. DH is now checking that everything works & I am collapsed in a heap downstairs watching TV. For 2 hours work we don’t appear to have got much done but it is a start 😉 One bonus to clearing the desk is that DH found his missing sock 😂 Apart from decluttering lots of dust we also managed to declutter 3 cardboard boxes 😉 These have been dismantled & I have added another box from ‘packaging corner’ in the dining room as well as adding more bubblewrap to the CS bag.
1600 - 1603 Four cardboard boxes recycled
DH has continued sorting so more bits for recycling:
1604 - 1611 Magazine, 3 cardboard boxes, cardboard packaging, kitchen recycling, glass bottle, drinks cans - recycled
Dinner was sausages, mash, baked beans & tinned tomatoes 🤤 Wudupa.
1612 - 1613 Kitchen detritus, nail brush (bristles keep falling out) - binned
Lovely to see you TC77 👋 You have been busy 👏 with some excellent decluttering especially of frogs 👏 So pleased to hear that you managed to get away for a few days 😊 I hope you had a lovely time in Italy & that the weather was kind to you 🙏 Thanks for the kind thought & comment 😊
vulpix, shame about the appalling internet service 😠 Hopefully you can get it sorted out soon 🤞 Thank you for the lovely comment. Re the photo whenever I select my photo from the ‘library’ the word ‘Option’ appears under the photo array on the left hand side - I select ‘medium’ Absolutely everything crossed that your viewer will put in an asking price offer - sounds like she is really keen 🤞🙏
London_1, how exciting 😊 - I really do hope that the couple have been correctly identified & that the photo will soon be back where it belongs 🙏
Excellent work TC77 👏 You are definitely on a roll & will be just as successful when it comes to tackling each Room of Doom in turn 😊
All caught up so will post & head off to bed. Cwtches to all 🤗 Sleep tight 😴

Hi all, well I have had a reasonable couple of days with spurts of energy followed by collapsing with a cup of tea
. Tuesday I had to go out for a few messages including collecting the quilt from the dry cleaners and a trip to the footy club ticket office to try to sort out something that is confusing me. Unfortunately I am none the wiser about this as it is my dneohew"s ticket and they will only talk to him. As he is currently in s America that won't happen
. It should all become clear in the next couple of weeks so I am just leaving it on the shelf
. The bedroom bin was emptied, 200 emails deleted and loads of videos and photos deleted from my phone. Yesterday the bedroom recycling was emptied, the bathroom bin and the kitchen bin. The weather was good so the washing machine was deployed. 1 LDFPA and another 4 loads still drying
. I cleared and cleaned half of the patio, moved around some pots into their winter positions, uu a bag of compost by planting up 5 pots of bulbs that I got from Tatton
. The pot sort out was continued and more put into the bin bag I have to take to ex colleague when we meet up, which should be early october so they won't be hanging around much longer
. 1 bag of garden waste into the bin.
Today I have dealt with the post, annoyed with myself as I have a speeding ticket. My own fault, obviously, but it was on a road that has had a change to the speed limit that I hadn't registered so doubly annoyed with myself so a fine and a training course are in my future. Interestingly the paperwork can be dealt with online and I am currently debating whether to do it online or use the post office, the luddite in me wants to use the post ,
but I know it will be easier to do it online.
I have tried to phone Dniece but keep missing her. They are very busy and have ordered a new kitchen and bathroom to be delivered to the house and seem to be spending their time travelling between their house sit where they have a dog to care for and their new house. They are both knackered and have come down with a cold which doesn't surprise me in the least considering what they have dealt with in the past couple of months.
@Mrs SD the jackdaws don't seem to be upsetting the smaller birds at all, they call in about twice a day and don't stay long, lots of blue tits visiting and the blackbird picks up anything they drop so I am not worried
Right the sun is out and I am planning to sort out the other side of the patio so I better get weaving
Hugs to everyone who would like one

34/52 - router, hair trimmer and earphones to electrical recycling at the tip.
35/52 - dog toy to recycling bin at the pet store
36/52 - dog bed donated to day care centre that our dog doesn't like. It's a big bed so frees up quite a bit of space.
37/52 - paella dish to tip. Not had it long but the coating is coming off. Disappointing.15 -
Hi, internet problems seem to be fixed. I have taken the opportunity to delete loads of stuff, from wish lists, emails and photographs.
The woman was about to offer much less than asking price on the house. We have decided to take ours off the market but not because of that. A house is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. The house we really wanted was taken off the market, the beautiful old house we looked at would be a money pit. There is absolutely nothing else on the market suitable for us. Our next move will likely be our last ever move and I don't want it to be to a house we don't love. So, staying here is no hardship. The EA's worked so hard for us but the buyers are just not there at the moment. I will take the EA's in a bottle each next week. I feel awful about the whole thing but selling the house for sellings sake just didn't feel right.
So, now I can get back to a master jobs list, hahaha. Nothing major, just things on the garden mostly, and of course decluttering as I find things.
We have been out tonight for a meal for a friends 60th Birthday. The shoes I wore were a bit uncomfortable so they can go to the charity shop along with a bag I unearthed whilst looking for a bag to take out tonight.
DD2, has decided that she would like the massive family bible. It is leaving the building tomorrow.
Would you believe it, someone else wants to view my Mum's house. The other woman is still on the radar too. It would be nice to get a sale before winter.
Take care all. Vx

Thursday was another bright sunny & breezy day with an expected high of 24°C - a perfect laundry day so DSis did her laundry ** Definitely overslept as I only got up 12:45 😱 The recycling has been emptied on time 👏 **Just over a week ago DSis lost her favourite delicate silver bracelet 😔 we hunted high & low in our efforts to find it with no joy 😔 DSis wrote it off 🤷♀️ However, today the gremlins returned it 🥳 As she was shaking out her clothes prior to loading the wm she found the bracelet…………………………….attached to a pair of her knickers 🤣 She is soooo happy 😃 The catch on the bracelet is quite a complicated one & there were no broken links so we are at a loss to explain 🤨 I watched a bit of TV & DH played on his computer + had some lunch - fully re-heated lo cheesy pasta. We then resumed sorting & decluttering the office. Three hours work putting like with like & putting away in filing cabinets etc + rearranging the contents of the shelving units which are on the longest wall & almost floor to ceiling height. Object of the exercise was to have as much stuff put away & have neat & well ordered shelving units. We got so engrossed that we didn’t realise the time (18:45) - so DH ordered in - curries for us & chicken burger & fries for DSis. Back to the office - we have 3 shelves left to sort & then we can start tackling each of the filing cabinets + labelling all shelves & drawers. We already have half a crate of items to be put in the garage + I have various bits & pieces to clean & donate to CS (will list & count when delivered to CS) + several empty cardboard boxes recycled & a small bag of paper recycling + a bag of rubbish & a small bag of bits for the Tip.
1614 - 1633 Completed Sudoku pad, kitchen recycling, 5 magazines, 11 cardboard boxes of varying sizes, small bag of office recycling, drinks cans, - recycled
1634 - 1635 Kitchen & office detritus - binned
1636 Bag of bits for Tip
As it is so late, I am off to bed & will reply to posts tomorrow. Sleep tight 😴

Super productive day there Mrs SD! It sounds like a very thorough sort out for the office and garage 👏
Vulpix - I am in agreement with your thoughts regarding moving.Liverpool Anne - well done for getting those bulbs planted up! I should buy some as it is lovely to have something to look forward to in Spring.Rootle - I don’t buy coated pans any more as I always find that happens no matter how good quality. I am careful with how I use them too.We are having a go through of all the camping equipment as it hasn’t been used for some time. Most will be kept but we have been airing things and repacking for storage over the winter. Garden furniture is gradually being brought under cover and benches oiled. All this means juggling stuff in the sheds. Two chairs are earmarked for the tip as they have woodworm. That will make some space though. The last few days have been lovely but definitely the end of summer.14
