Conservatory sorted and cleared at one end - looks quite bare without the rabbit run in place! Other end needs sorting as we have two airers of washing out there at the moment.
One lot I will clear and take upstairs later as it's mine; other stuff is DMums and that only went up yesterday.
Need to stick some blankets and towels in the wash later and tidy round, not much else going on.
Have tried to contact council about the Steptoe and son neighbours but had to leave a voice-mail grrr. Hoping they call later to discuss but I won't hold my breath.
Am in the middle of sewing together crocheted squares for wildlife blanket..hoping to get it finished later but need a nap first!14 -
Just landing at East Cowes, dreadful weather driving down.

London_1 welcome to the island. We moved here 24 and a half years ago so in six months we become islanders. It’s an amazing place with so many places to explore. And the people here are so friendly.
Have finally managed to declutter all of the cardboard boxes I had flattened and stuffed in the gap down the side of our stairs. Gone. Also sent a huge box of donations: foods, blankets, bed, treats, toys to cats protection. Difficult for me as needs collecting due to me being housebound and is the other end of the island. Gone.Have listed five guitars, a humidifier, an ice cream maker and a waffle maker on eBay, fingers crossed for them going too. Got to get some boxes out of loft to send things in but that’s DH job as I can’t get up there.Onwards and upwards and thanks for the welcomes.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

@London_1 - So glad that that you are there finally. Hope it doesn't take 25 years to fit in though.
@Vulpix - I got locked in the gift shop at the V and A during a bomb threat back in the early 80s. (And me with no money to spend.) The doors between each section locked. Took a couple of hours to let us out. Ran into a lot of those back then, especially when traveling around Northern Ireland. When entering the Public Record's Office in London, they used to hand you a note from one person saying "Beware of pickpockets" and a note from another person saying "We are having a bomb threat. If you see any suspicious package, would you report it immediately." We genealogists are a strange bunch. Never kept us from going in. I was also in the Library of Congress a few days after we had bombed Libya, when a bunch of soldiers burst through the door. They were really surprised to see people in there researching. One of them yelled at the librarian that the building was supposed to have been cleared due to a bomb threat a couple of hours earlier, didn't she get the call? Her reply was, "I didn't think any of them would want to leave." They made us leave anyway.
Off to take roommate Di to doctor. Then to pick up prescriptions. Will be going to the FamilySearch Center tonight.19 -

Just popping in really quickly. Struggling to survive work even though only got 2 weeks left. Was fine when they all left me alone to get on with it, but today everyone was being ridiculous.Anyway, sorted another month of photos today on my phone as my one decluttering job for the day. I worked out that if I keep doing that, I will have more than a month's worth of decluttering tasks! Usually I get bored after a while of the digital decluttering though, so will ride the wave whilst I'm in the mood for it.Digital:

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Mini Mission in May
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Tuesday: Up very late about noon 😔 & yes, it had been raining & is now very dark 😞 Such awful weather but at least the plants are getting a good watering 😉 I dealt with today’s mail whilst watching the tennis on the covered courts. I finally got round to writing a To Do list 😉 but must confess that the miserable weather is dampening my enthusiasm for doing any decluttering at all 😔 I spent an hour collating my many, many, many ‘To Do lists’ & although nowhere near finished I have already shredded 0.5” of scrap paper 😂 Made a couple of calls to local charity shops re empty DVD cases with the result that I found one that would take the clear ones 🙂 The opaque ones have been recycled. As the cs that is taking the DVD cases is not my usual one I have started knitting a scarf & will also see if I can find a couple of bits to donate to them. DH ordered in - Chinese food. Wudupa. It rained on & off all day but now at 00:40 there are barely any clouds in the night sky 🙂

Welcome aboard the EDT suzeesu2000👋 We love seeing new faces 😊 I can see that you have had a very warm welcome from our Declutterati family 😊 & judging by your comment “I’m also a crafter and the old adage is so true in my case: buying craft supplies and actually using them are two different hobbies!” you will fit in very well 😊 Many of us have large craft supplies 😉 Well done on making a start with a bag taken to the cs 👏 daisy_1571 & weenancy have come up with a couple of great suggestions & I have one last one which can work very well - using a timer - pick an area or task & set your timer for anywhere between 10 & 24 minutes (ties in with the current year 😉). Once the timer goes off you can either stop or reset it 😊 By restricting the time you spend decluttering you can do this daily & it shouldn’t feel like a chore 😊 So good luck on starting your Decluttering Journey 🍀
Great post daisy_1571 👏
Excellent decluttering Happy_Kitties 👏
Lovely post weenancy 👏 Hopefully therapy will help with your sciatica 🙏
I need to try harder to catch up with the cheerleading so will make a concerted effort on Wednesday 😊 Cwtches to all 🤗 & sleep tight 😴
