Hi all,
Sorry I haven't posted for a few days, I have not done much decluttering as I think I have pulled a muscle in my stomach area which has made it tricky to bend or even sit comfortably. It's been a bit weird but I think it's recovering now. I have caught up with the posts but much has not been retained, 11 pages, gulp. I was a bit stressed at the beginning of the week as hurricane Beryl hit the island where my dniece and her DH are and it was a couple of days before I found out she was safe via fb. I expect she contacted my dsis but as usual she hasn't informed me. When my dnephew was stranded in India at the start of the pandemic I found out via my dniece what was happening not my dsis
. Neighbour over the road is back in hospital after 2 falls in the same day, taken to hospital at lunchtime and sent home about 6pm only to need another ambulance at 10pm after another fall.
@crazybunnylady4 beautiful pictures
@GrannyKate great news about the house
@Moorviews I agree 2 gardens is too much, especially as I am no longer a spring chicken. Currently I am also looking after ln's garden as well as she is on holiday, luckily it's just watering the pots and hanging baskets
. Thanks for the sewing link, when I have some space I will be looking at this
. Hugs
@Muddy_Walker big hugs

What a difference a day makes - Thursday is a bright sunny day 😊 However there is a rather chilly breeze. The recycling operatives turned up today but because the green waste collectors had moved my bin back to stop the garden waste bag from blowing away, the recycling wasn’t emptied 😔 Oh well, there wasn’t that much in it so I will survive 😉
QueenJess, sorry to hear that you are still suffering from the ‘bug’ 😔 However you have still managed some good decluttering 👏 Well done on keeping such a great in/out ratio 👏
crazybunnylady4, beautiful work 😻 You must have had a premonition about getting Mac 👻
Brie, lovely supportive post with some useful info for Muddy_Walker 😊
TC77, great decluttering 👏 So close to halfway 🥳
Florenceem, yesterday’s lunch sounds delicious 😋 Sorry to hear that you are feeling so tired 😔 However you have been working so hard that I think you might have been forgetting to sleep 😔 Hopefully C is back soon 🤞
Great decluttering ilovetea 👏 The Craft De-Stash sounds great 🥳 I will keep everything crossed that you resist temptation 🤞& that you move first 😉
Florafauna, fingers crossed that the vendor paperwork will materialise soon 🤞Camping out in your own house can be fun for a short time but does get a bit wearying if it goes on too long 😔
I stopped here & went out. Caught the bus to CW - banked June PB winning cheques, got some cash, picked up my weekly magazine, popped into B*ots + M&S for something for my dinner, as the meat portion of tonight’s dinner is only enough for two. Posted several letters & was back within 90 minutes. Since being back I have updated my accounts including reimbursing my Mad Money purse 😉 Dealt with today’s mail including filing & shredding. Before I left DH had been burning ‘stuff’ in the barbecue. He & DSis had replaced the cover once they had finished not noticing that the wind appeared to have carried something from one end of the garden to the other. Two hours later he smelt burning - the bark near the olive tree was smouldering. It has been heavily doused with water TWICE 😮💨 Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that the clematis survives as there is now a scorched area around the main stem 🤞🙏 Forgot to mention that we had FIVE magpies in the back garden yesterday 😊 Dinner for DH & DSis was chicken with a spinach & ricotta sauce, new potatoes & peas. I had an M&S lasagne. Wudupa
1018 - 1021 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, 2 newspapers - recycled
1022 Kitchen detritus - binned
Excellent decluttering crazybunnylady4 👏
Great news weenancy 😊 Diabolical that it has taken 17 months 👿 but well done on persevering 👏Good luck with the living room clearance 🍀 It might have been initiated by the desire to keep the cats safe but it will definitely help in keeping the humans safe as well 😊
Wednesday2000, great pictures 😊 Hope you were successful with the shed decluttering 🤞
vulpix, well done to MrV 👏 So pleased to hear that the monies raised from sales are going towards a holiday/s 😊 Good luck with pulling up the Himalayan Balsalm 🍀 However, please be careful 🙏
Just noticed the time & in keeping with trying to get to bed earlier will post & run 😉 Sleep tight 😴

Morning, been clearing but also restocking! Had a lovely day out yesterday to a nearby attraction of a tiny steam train and craft places. Gorgeous village, lovely lunch in a lovely tea room, got birthday present for the mother, wedding present for my cousins daughter (not sure what relationship that is to me ? A second cousin maybe but feels more second neice-ish), a milk jug to replace one i had to chuck and 2 lovely bowls the right size to replace one i broke a year or so ago and have never been able to find a decent replacement for. A pair of wooden tongs (we have never had anything to fish salad leaves out a bowl in all our married days 😀 fine when its just us but not so great when others are invited to the table) and the dinkiest little wooden spoon imaginable. And a bee friendly plant for the garden and 2 cards for upcoming events.
Love them all. Plus the very nicest type of cluttering, some beautiful flowers from two lovely friends ❤
Hugs to everyone (whether you want one or not today)

Gone yesterday, batteries, soft plastics and coat hangers to the supermarket. Broken glass dish and deep breath machine recycled. The 2 big boxes the new sound equipment came in collected by a lady from thrift and I gave her my bubble wrap collection too.
I tried on 7 more tops from the wardrobe, I was surprised that they all fit. I will wear them once and see if they are keepers. I have had them a few years but thought they were too small so never bothered with them. That is everything in the wardrobe tried now. Now I am ready for summer. We have had nothing over 15 degrees now for weeks. Fleece weather.
Two more items listed for sale in Awkrights shop.
More ****** Himalayan balsam bashing to do, ****** shed painting to do as well.
We are out later to a comedy club, Justin Moorehouse, and an ex policeman called Alfie Moore. We have seen them both before. They are both testing their Edinburgh fringe sets. Alfie Moore's true story of escaped lions on the loose in Grimsby is a treat, possibly on YT. Highly recommend him, funny guy and no swearing.
Nice to see you LiverpoolAnne, your poor neighbour, exactly how it was with MIL for 3 years. I have no advice. Something for you to ponder. My friend has a massive garden and hates gardening. She has given part of it it over to a lady as an allotment. No charge although she does get free veg. Feel better soon.

Friday: I woke up to rain 😞 I am up before 09:00 but not dressed. No idea what time DH came to bed as he was staying up to watch the election results which are no surprise.
crazybunnylady4, some great decluttering 👏 Shame about the spectacles but well said Mum 😉 Good news that DMum is happy with the rollator 😊 Great picture - brought a smile to my face 😄
QueenJess, such a shame as the added advantage was that it was in walking distance 🙂 Sorry to hear that you are still feeling so rough 😔 Is there any possibility it is Covid as I read that it is making a resurgence 😔 More great decluttering & organising in the library 👏 I agree that whilst you are feeling so unwell that the rest of the tasks in the library should take a back seat & you should pick something less taxing to deal with 🙏 Please let us know how you get on with the silicon freezer bags as I do need to sort my freezers & am also looking to reduce my reliance on plastic 🙂 Too late again - I missed the organic hm raspberry ice cream 😔
Well said Floss 👏
Muddy_Walker, relieved to hear that you are doing better & that your mum is taking charge of her reaction to her diagnosis. Also a relief that SD’s scan result was not as bad as feared 😮💨
Florenceem, I imagine if you are cutting off a large amount of material you will be increasing your craft stash 😉 Hopefully the freezer food was saved 🤞 Not sure what the solution is other than a padlock 😞
daisy_1571, hopefully it is just carelessness 🙏
Floss, thanks for that, brought a huge smile to my face 😁 More innocent times & at least you could understand exactly what was being advertised 😉
Liverpool_Anne, sorry to hear about the pulled muscle 😔 What on earth have you been doing 🤨 Please take it easy 🙏 Shame on your sister for leaving you to worry about both your niece & nephew 😔 Hope the neighbour is OK 🙏 Excellent decluttering - almost halfway 👏
daisy_1571, what a lovely day out for you & Mr daisy 😊 The village sounds marvellous - no wonder you were tempted - some lovely items in rainbow colours 😻 Apparently your cousin’s daughter is a ‘first cousin once removed’ 🙂 Love the wooden spoon it even looks smaller than my humongous radish 🤣 Almost rainbow flowers as well 😊
Excellent decluttering vulpix 👏 especially donating the bubble wrap 😊 Well done on going through everything in your wardrobe 🥳 So impressed that I am awarding you a medal🏅 & am starting to ‘psych myself up’ to do the same 🤞Hope you have a great time tonight 😊 An unusual idea for Liverpool_Anne but if there is rear access to the the garden it might be a great idea 🤔
Will you look at that, all caught up 🥳 It is raining again & the cloud looks set for the day 😔 When is summer going to start & stick around for more than a few days? Hope everyone has a good day despite the weather & Cwtches to all 🤗

@vulpix - I've got tickets for Alfie Moore in October, he is a funny guy, his radio programmes are so well crafted. Enjoy the show.
