1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Mini Mission in May
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
A mainly rainy day with a maximum temperature of 19C 😞 I managed to finish mending DSis’s 40ish year old top - repaired all the holes, neatened up all the frayed edges + unpicked the collar & then restitched it upside down so all the frayed edges are now hidden. I even sewed the label back in “The Sweater Shop Made in England” 😉 Dinner was gammon shanks with honey & mustard glaze, chips/fries & baked beans. Wudupa. Paid milkman.
1013 - 1016 Kitchen recycling, plastic bottle, drinks cans, magazine - recycled
1017 Kitchen detritus binned
Florenceem, a busy Tuesday 👏 What a generous donation - 8 sleeping bags 🤩 My DSis tried several times to order her meds online - complete disaster - ridiculously difficult & she was sent the wrong meds 3 times 😔 She is back to paper prescriptions & picking up meds in person. Good luck to DGD re selling SA donations 🍀
QueenJess, that is one way to declutter your craft stuff - by making cards 👏 As you say it takes time to use up/dispose of ethically/responsibly 😔 I do miss my old local CS - they used to run children’s craft groups, mummy & baby groups & even cooked food for the homeless using donated takeaway boxes - they used to take all sorts of bits & bobs 😊 Sadly they had to shutdown as the building they were using was being redeveloped (supposedly) - still hasn’t happened 3 years later 😠
vulpix, sounds like you are doing really well using up your craft stash 👏 Excellent decluttering 👏 Well done to MrV for his sales 😊 & good luck persuading him to list more 🍀
Wednesday2000, shame about the rain as you arrived in Broadstairs but despite that & the unintended decluttering of your trainers & the umbrella, it sounds like you had a great time 😊 + you are getting a feel for the area & where you would like to buy 😊 Excellent intentional decluttering & hope the cat care wasn’t too difficult 🤞
carolbee, sounds delightful 😊 Hope you have a lovely time 😊
Wednesday2000, looking at pictures of the beach huts no wonder you were talking about them 🥳 Wonderfully bright, colourful & quirkily decorated 🤩
Excellent decluttering crazybunnylady4 👏 Fingers crossed that the rollator is suitable for your mum 🤞
One more page caught up so I will post & head off to bed. Cwtches to all 🤗

Morning,
Nice photo's ladies.
Mr V has sold the three bits of kit he listed the other day. A couple of blokes came and collected some big speakers last night. The rest is going tomorrow. These sales will give us £250 towards our holidays. The kit owes him nowt, he has earned a living from it.He says his last gig will be NYE after which the really big kit can go. He will not completely retire and do bits and bobs with better hours to keep his hand in. He has bought some new things which are much smaller and lighter which he is putting together today. Awkright's shop will be restocked later today.
He also goes to a men in sheds group on Thursdays. He isn't local and he gets to know a few people. They do community stuff, last week they were making things for the carnival, previously they had been renovating some benches.
We went to Trentham gardens yesterday, just a Birthday card purchased. The top and cardigan I wore will be going once washed. I spent the day pulling the top down. Also to go a couple of new plug in lights, bought in error, not quite what we need.
I have to get in the top garden today. The Himalayan Balsam is in full flower. I have to pull it all up to prevent it setting seed. A thankless task. I am not looking forward to it. It is drizzling as well.I resent spending my time on it when I need to be doing other stuff. Better stop talking about it and get on with it.

Successful shopping trip today.
Few things I couldn't get so have ordered them online via fleabay/Mr A - one of the items will go onto our shopping list for next week.
Recycled batteries and parcel return dropped off at the inpost lockers.
Stupidly put the glasses meant for the recycling bin in the opticians in one of the charity shop bags and forgot to take it out - kicking myself a bit over that. DMum said "you're only human you can't be expected to remember every little thing!" 🥰
On subject of DMum, rollator has gone over well so took the packaging for it out of the garage - thats gone in the recycling for tomorrow.
Listed some stuff on fleabay so see how that goes, hopefully get a few more bits cleared from the garage.
Hope everyone is well. Here's a photo of a sleepy loaf.

That sounded fantastic. A shame it isn't around anymore and they don't have more of those things around the country.I'm still off work today as feel rubbish, although think I am getting better now. I can do things, just not for very long and I have to sit down and have a rest. Definitely not in the right frame of mind to get back to the job considering how much I dislike it and how difficult it is to deal with.Got round to doing another desk drawer today, although I think technically I did about 3 of them, but there was so little to do in each of them as I'd already been doing bits and pieces in them anyway. I had some paper that was good for gift tags, so I made those and filed them in the gift box. The desk drawers are now complete and I even finished the medical filing that I'd put off from Monday... I assumed it was laziness on my part, but maybe it was my brain trying to protect me. On opening the kids medical stuff it just reminded me of things I would rather forget about from not very nice experiences when they were younger. But it's done now and I will continue trying to forget about it (yes, possibly not healthy, but right now that's what I want to do as I don't have the capacity to deal with it).So, although I've done the library desk, I have a whole library to deal with and not sure if I will continue slowly working through that or pick somewhere else tomorrow. The problem with the library is that it houses all my sentimental things and stuff that's hard to deal with. I have been chipping away at parts of it, but there is more to go through (photos, all my memory boxes and stuff from my grandparents as well as books). Will see how I feel tomorrow and may pick something easier to deal with if I'm not up to it.More new bits in, but these were much needed silicone freezer bags as I have lots of things collecting in the freezer (hm hummus, hm pesto, a ton of redcurrants from outside etc) and don't have enough to keep them in (and I don't want to use plastic bags anymore). 5 of these plus 1 piece of packaging that's perfect to collect the next load of shredding for recycling once the shredder fills up. These will be washed and used pretty much immediately, so no guilt there!Physical:
2 - baking overstock used up
2 - purses I don’t use (charity box)
1 - packaging reused
1 - receipts (shredded)
1 - key ring purse I never use (charity box)
4 - paperwork shredded/recycledNew total = 13,248July In: 11, July Out: 248Edit: There is organic hm raspberry ice cream in the TLC carriage, made with fresh raspberries. Hello! I am doing ok…..mum is making lists and dealing with things bit by bit. We had a long talk and although she doesn’t want to know about the cancer right now, she will deal with it and alllllll the questions when she knows the date of the operation which is more than fair.
i have said that it’s a big op and not to be surprised if she gets “tummy issues”, that she will need to do those injections you have to prevent blood clots etc and that she would be better getting nighties as pyjamas will be uncomfortable.
SD’s scan thing was ok - nowhere near as bad as the dr made out.
and my beloved old trainers are on their way to the bin…..completely worn out, hurt my feet but need to go…….⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Ddil collected her repaired bag and deposited 2 dresses - she had text to ask if I would shorten them.
Ddil has a unique style of dressing - she got the dresses from a secondhand shop - I will be cutting a lot off them as she wants them above knee length.
Popped to SA at 5.30 to close inner doors to protect the freezers.
I went back to SA at 7.30 to find that someone had been in a freezer and left it open causing the temperature to rise. Hopefully I spotted it before the food started to defrost.

Is it the same group using the hall each time florenceem? Maybe the hall will have to install either alarm that goes off when its open or maybe go the whole hog and get a padlock fitted. Bad enough for someone to be rummaging about where they shouldn't, but to leave the door open more than once and let food go to waste is either very absent minded or else its starting to look deliberate
