@London_1 - Wonderful news JackieO. Hope everything goes as smoothly as possible.
@Muddy_Walker - I would go for it - we are still working on my roommate's money problem.
I always feel I look like a bag lady. Whenever we need to send someone to a special event to pick up an award, I always send the Treasurer of our group (I am President). She always looks wonderful even after working for hours on the books in our basement storage area. It used to be the town fall-out shelter, but would only have held about 500 people - in a town with 400,000 people living here and 100,000 visitors on any given day. The only other fallout shelter was the basement of the local McD's! Really wasn't much help.12 -

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger: thank you for the compliments! The two ladies are part of a range by John Clayton, one of my favourite designers. Those two are part of the elegance miniatures collection.
I just follow the patterns and use the thread provided in the kits!10 -
I had a busy morning decluttering ingredients to make 90 fairy cakes. When I had finished the cakes - I did two trips to SA to deliver them. Then I went back again to SA with cake stands and servers. Good job we live near.
In the afternoon we went to the 90th Birthday party.
The leftover cakes will be used at the SA tomorrow.

@Vulpix said "always up for a road trip. Talking of which, can anyone recommend anywhere for a few days visit? I am feeling in need of a little break?"
I appreciate it might be a bit too far for you but I had 3 lovely days in Chichester, Sussex last week.
It's a compact place, full of independent shops, has a market day, a Cathedral and Bishop's Palace Gardens. The Gardens and Novium Museum are free to enter. There is also a canal walk.
Visited Weald & Downland Living Museum, 50 buildings re-built from their original locations, over 40 acres, (and also home to the Repair Shop although its just a filming location - you can take exterior photos though).
Popped over to Fishbourne Roman Palace - a large roman home with incredible mosaics.
Brighton is 50 mins by train.
I will try to post the repair shop and mosaic pics separately.
